6/5/25 I informed Heather M. this was my 4th time in the past 6-8 months complaining about the STRONG scent of foul body odor specifically in the 4DX theater. I can NOT in good conscious continue to ask groups of people to shell out $24.99 EACH (not including concessions) to sit in a theater for hours that smells that foul. She was dismissive. Only after I asked for her name did she ask for my name & email address. She said I would hear from her soon. I never did. 7/16/25 PG-13 film at Walden Regal w/a friend in the back row a family of 4 (w/2 very small children) sat next to us. I was faced away from them talking to my friend during the trailers. The Mother asked if I planned to talk during the film. I said "Absolutely not, my friend and I are catching up during the movie trailers but we're not going to talk during the film." She said she could hear my conversation. I said, "I'm not talking that loud. Why would you purchase seats directly next to me if you didn't want to hear anyone talk?" She said there was nowhere else to sit. I looked up and LITERALLY EVERY SEAT of the first THREE ROWS was COMPLETELY EMPTY. I ascertained she was an unhappy person attempting to take out her frustrations on me. I politely ignored her. Then WHEN THE MOVIE FINALLY BEGINS the Mother says what she THOUGHT my friend & I said while SHE eavesdropped on US. I quietly said 'We weren't talking about you." She insisted we were. I said a little louder "Ma'am, you said you didn't want anyone to talk during the film. Now that it's begun you're attempting to start an argument. Please stop talking to me." Heather came up and said she was standing in the hallway of our theater for 10 minutes but came up when she heard my voice. I said I DID raise my voice WHEN this woman started verbally harassing me once the film began. Heather said "When someone asks you to stop talking you're supposed to shut up." Heather then said that we (either that family or my friend and I should move). I said "I bought our seats days ago, they bought their seats after us, the woman said there were no empty seats and literally the first 3 rows of the theater are still empty so they should move." Heather kept saying that we (my friend & I or that family) needed to move or she was going to call Security and have ALL of us removed. REACTIVE, ESCALATING, and UNACCEPTABLE responses from someone in a MANAGEMENT position. If Heather HAD been standing there for 10 minutes, why did she stand there for that long and not intervene UNTIL the movie began so now ALL MOVIEGOERS would be disturbed?!? And - as unhappy and unfounded as that Mother's complaint was - if I were her and had complained to management about behavior and that same manager turned around threatened to throw me and my family out without a refund (Heather KEPT mentioning "...and NO REFUND" at LEAST 3 TIMES in an attempt to be punitive) I would have been FURIOUS! When Heather began to walk away, I asked her name. At first, she would not answer me and said she was getting Security so we'd all be removed. I again asked her for her name. She then said Heather. I said, "Yes, I remember you. You're the Manager that never followed up to my previous complaint." She left. Security never came. And even though the Mother that complained about me TWO YOUNG CHILDREN (I'm guessing a 2yo and a 4yo) were TALKING, SCREAMING, & CRYING THROUGHOUT THE FILM AAAAND THEY FLICKED SOME OF THEIR DRINK ON ME I sucked it up and dealt with it. The movie ended, I looked for another Manager, and Tracy A. - who has always been very kind & professional - was available. I asked who the Manager above Heather was. She informed me it was Frank M. I thanked her and returned the next day and asked for Frank. Scott came out and said Frank was in an unexpected meeting but he would take down my info and give it to Frank. I haven't heard from Frank yet. It's going to take a lot in order for me, my friends/loved one/associates to even consider paying another $0.01 to see any non-4DX films NOR BUY CONCESSIONS (theaters actual...
Read moreCame here to see The Super Mario Bros. Movie in RPX. I had already purchased my tickets in advance on the Regal app which definitely saved time considering the ungodly long lines not only at the box office but also the concession stand. They only had one person operating the register at the box office and only two registers at the concession stand. The wait time for the concession stand was over 10 minutes and took them over 5 minutes to get a large Pepsi and popcorn. None of the staff behind the counter were cordial and seemed to go out their way to not smile. It didn't even seem like they even enjoyed their job and didn't seem happy to be there. However, some of the staff members were nice and kind such as the young man at the usher station who greeted us in a friendly manner. One security guard in the whole place when there should be more considering the location. The actual theater experience itself was bad. Throughout the film there was people in front of us constantly getting up and moving around and talking abruptly loud which ended up getting in view of the movie screen itself. People are constantly on their phones with the brightness so high that it's lighting up the whole theater and talking way to loud. The RPX screen was very big with good image quality. The sound however on the other hand was punishingly loud which was vibrating and moving the seats like crazy but didn't bother me that much. The seats were very comfortable as well. During the film, I decided to go get a refill on the large popcorn since its free. Well there was four long lines at the concession stand that were almost going out to the front doors. I waited in line for over 20 minutes and when I got to the counter the person took the bucket came back 5 minutes later and said come back in a few minutes were out of popcorn. HOW? You have two popcorn machines and your only using one? I came back and had to wait once again in the long line but got my free refill. I encourage anyone wanting to go see a movie to either see it at Quaker Crossing or Transit Center. If you do come to this theater, I only recommend coming on a weekday when it's not crazy busy. Don't come on Friday or Saturday. The only thing I ever enjoyed at this theater was the 4DX experience which is great. This theater is definitely short staff and needs more staff running the concession stand. The cleanliness of the place was fine. Overall I had a gut feeling I wasn't safe at this theater considering the amount of fights and crimes that are committed...
Read moreI went to this movie theater for a movie premier and experienced nothing but problems. We ordered tickets online and the only seats left were for the front row. When we got there we soon realized that you couldn't actually see the movie from these seats since they were literally a couple feet from the screen. Then as we were waiting for the movie to start, a couple employees came in and informed us that the projector wasn't working, so they split us in half and directed us to different theaters - which, the one I went to, was in the middle of playing a different movie. So we came back out and they had to find us a different theater. 30 minutes after the movie was supposed to begin, we were finally sitting in a new theater getting ready to watch the movie. They had trouble getting the audio and lights to work at first, but got it eventually, but just a few minutes in the movie's audio was muted again and the audio from ads started playing instead, and the lights turned on. Some people also watching the movie had to leave to go find someone to fix it and rewind the movie. They rewinded it too far so we were forced to watch large portions over again. Plus the lights stayed on, so we watched the majority of the movie with the lights on. This happened a few more times, each more irritating and time consuming than the last. About 20 minutes before the movie was supposed to end, it happened again, and this time they gave up on trying to fix it, telling us to just go to the front desk to get an accomadation ticket. They told us that it happened in all the other theaters they had sent people to when the projector in the first theater failed too, as if that was supposed to make up for anything. So I sat there for three hours trying to watch a movie that kept being muted and rewinded and I never even got to see the end! And all they did was give us our tickets back! This did not at all make up for the hours I spent at the theater for nothing, the money I spent on snacks, not even getting to see the end of the movie, the terrible atmosphere and technical issues I had to deal with even during the portion I did get to watch, or the terrible experience I had overall. I will never spend my money at that...
