After making two reservations for the same nights stay one of which had to be changed to one night and after 2 calls to reservations and 1 to the hotel itself the problem still was wrong upon check in..lThank god I had the confirmation numbers! Also I wasn’t greeted as a club member which I wasn’t bothered by however the girl at the front desk seemed not to know how to check us in... The hotel was under some kind of construction or renovation and was alittle disorganized and noisy. Upon entering our room...the refrigerator wasn’t on...which was disappointing since we were staying a couple nights and wanted to chill our beer and other drinks... we were in a king suite and only two bath towels were in the room...no wash cloths or hand towels or bath mat.,,we had to call the front desk twice for towels..., the ice bucket had a hole in it which caused water to leak everywhere..... I found crumpled up paper and dirty socks (not ours) thrown behind the chair in the corner.,,the only reason I found them was my jacket slipped behind the chair..The bathroom was my major pet peeve...there was hair on the floor..and when I put a wet towel on the floor to mop up some water it was black by the time I was done..,when was the floor washed last??? The worst thing was the toilet continued to run all night after flushing...a leak somewhere... All in All ..not what I’m used to at a holiday inn express... the breakfast was OK but the juices were watered down way too much.... The coffee however was surprisingly good! We enjoyed using the hot tub spa and pool..,no one else was using them.. would I return to THIS HOTEL AGAIN!?. Only if they finish all the renovations and fine tune their housekeeping services.
