The the name is what attracted us and drew my boyfriend and i to Cooper's Cave, but we really didn't get to see Cooper's Cave the way one would imagine it to be. Theres alot of fencing to keep people out of the man made powerful world pool like damn system. They're alot of old plaques around with information about the olld tribe believe they were called the Mohegans which they wrote about made movies about and in this case at this sight you get the main full description about the making of how coppers cave came to be. They wrote about the flood that tore the bridge down. Also What I like most about it is that it's free and a healthy activity for the family and it's not just the water system there that you get to look at and be hypnotized by you get too walk along a little Bridge that's takes you to the centre behind the powerful gushing water, you get to look at more plaques to read the full story which i hoppe my attempt at trying to take pictures is good enoigh and I hope they came out okay. Just being able to experience this sight with my significant other and soak up the Summer sun surrounded by fresh water on top of beautiful yet peaceful scenery after our first night at S-pac in which we saw Goose live! 7-11-23.
also Theres a wonderful trail to walk as well which we stumbled across when we saw a sign for restrooms and drove like 1 min to use them which there was all free parking and saw the water which drew me closer and the path to follow the trails. Though id this and these picture...
Read moreMy advice: look at other folks' pictures of this and visit someplace else. The city has successfully turned a silk purse into a sow's ear by making the cave completely inaccessible and surrounding it with a wall and high railings which would rival a maximum security prison. The rails are so close together that a camera lens will barely pass between, making angles a no-no and a decent shot nigh impossible. The famous "front" end of the cave has no visual access whatsoever except from the viaduct above. The falls are controlled by local industry and even the impressive viaduct has the wall and even higher railings, once again, making photography very difficult since one cannot even hold the camera high enough to shoot over the top. In fact, the railings are so close together that viewing can essentially only be done with one eye at a time. About protecting idiots from jumping off high bridges into raging torrents, I have this to say: I am not my brother's keeper, and...
Read moreVery bad navigation system setup to get close with this place
County should improve further and provide better boards setup (explaining about drive , parking and additional details)
No parking near the attraction spot.. you’ll have to park in sand mulch land and walk few meters to reach the spot
Attraction is like kind of docking small area , view the falls (it’s actually water flowing from dam or hydraulic plant nearby ) and then few boards setup
Initially we got confused to get into other side of attraction spot - which is paper company
Be careful and navigate crossing the bridge to get into coopers cave spot parking (cross bridge - Turn right - you’ll be able to see the board - park very next right side area) .. walk from there inside to dock...
