Sunday Records is my “Local Record Shop” for a few years now. The owner is a great guy. On more than one occasion when I walk through the door Sunday morning I am greeted with a smile and a kind word, usually followed by “oh good your here, I got something I think you will like” and 9 out of 10 times he is spot on. That last sentence is key, he knows me and my taste, and that is what I’m looking for in a record store. There is a great collection of older used records and a sizable amount of new releases. Keep in mind that this store is a truly independent shop, so you will not find Record Store Day participation, and for me that’s just fine because I feel RSD has lost its way long ago.    Read moreI live locally and stop into Sunday Records at least once a month. I've been collecting records for 40 years and have traveled extensively to visit different record stores. This shop is a real gem and I'm glad that I am able to visit it so often. I honestly have nothing negative to say. There is a great selection across all genres and they are all organized so that you can actually find what you are looking for very easily. The prices are very fair and are listed on each item. I always come in to a record store with a list of wants, but Sunday Records turned that list on its head and showed records I was not expecting to find. I loved the experience. Brian was hospitable and offered some great stories about the store and his collection.
