Tonawanda location, Friendly people, but things are changing around the store, electronics have been moved away from any electrical outlets, I did find 3 power strips close to that department but all were dead, and customers just leave items next to the outlets thinking that don’t work, records and cds are still on or close to the floor, The last thing I wanna do is get on my hands and knees to thumb through a 100 record albums or three shelves of CDs, I’ve asked them to change this for 6 months now, my request have been ignored, also I see items in the drop off bay that never seem to make it in the store hmmmm, some things are cheap. Some things that are cheap are expensive, whoever sets the prices doesn’t know what they’re doing, This organ for example none of the keys move and it looks totally broken, but $49.99, I wish I had what they were smoking,

I'm the first person to admit I'm frugal (my husband says I'm cheap) I LOVE hunting for bargains! Church rummage sales, garage sales and thrift stores are my hang out spots. I get thrift stores have overhead costs but savers is out of their minds with the prices. So I went in looking for a bargain and left with none. I was so disappointed and disgusted. When their used prices are close to or more than what things cost new, there's no bargain. If you look at the pictures I included the plastic container is from the dollar tree! And what I'm more confused about is people are giving them good reviews. They're definitely not reasonable. On a good note, the store was clean 🫧🪥🫧

The store was organized and clean, with a large selection, mostly of pants. However, for being a thrift store, the items were a little pricey and some clothing items were overly soiled. Additionally, the environment was slightly loud. When people are sifting through the racks of clothes, the hangers make loud squeaky noises and the store is filled with the sounds of the metals scraping. Overall, I think this store has some decent items but you will need to take some time to find a good bargain.

Manager, Shanley, refused my mother her discount because an employee gave her the wrong (expired) punch card which expired in December. My mother did not live within 100 miles of a Savers prior to January 21st and there is proof of this. The store manager said that my mother was lying and that there was no possible way this was an employee error. She said she signed for the new cards herself and my mother and was lying. ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL! My mother has been a regular shopper at Savers since before she moved away over a year ago and she and her friends have been donating and shopping there since she moved home late January. Not only will we never shop there again, we encourage our friends and family to steer clear of this place run by Shanley until the situation has been rectified. Not tho mention that the employee in the drive through today admitted that it was an employee error and said that employee was fired 2 days ago and then referred us to speak...

This place was nice at first. But, when I take into account that items sold at the mall I've found have been consistently cheaper than Savers...I start to rethink this place.

I've seen these people tag on $15-20.00 for USED, WORN DOWN, RIPPED and STAINED clothes?? Thrifting use to be fun, like a treasure hunt to find something you like. To dig through the piles of unwanted stuff and find something that makes you happy at a fraction of it's original cost. But these employees are reallyyyy trying it. It just doesn't seem worth it to come here anymore. You can find new clothes at the same cost elsewhere. There are still cheap thrift stores out there that have traditionally very low prices and are aware that most people who come here aren't teenagers trying to do what is trendy but families who need clothes at a reasonable cost for their children.

Bottom line: overpriced, don't recommend. Staff can also be rude, dazed out or just scary. Maybe try...

My rating is based on the donation drive thru, and one worker in particular. I brought several boxes to donate one day, and the guy who worked there did not seem pleased. I figured he was just having a bad day, but when I went to donate again he was there, and had an even worse attitude. I told myself I wasn’t going to donate there again but I had some sneakers in my car so I went through again. And again, the same guy, skinny white guy in his 30’s maybe, was there and just acted like he hated life and hated his job and just generally made me feel very uneasy and unwelcome. I’m never going to donate to Saver’s again, and I guarantee you that several people who have donated know the exact person I’m talking about. Here’s my message for him: if you don’t like your job, then quit. These donations HELP people and you make the experience feel like it’s such a chore for you. Grow up. This is...
