What an amazing library to say the least!!!! I meet the most amazing librarians ever!!!
This place is amazing!
There is a fireplace as well as Dinosaur fossils everywhere!!!! This library supplies a multitude of programs rooms and creative outlets for not only children to teen yet to adults as well!!!
There is a lab space that is called the Makers space with capabilities to rent it out as well as for library lessons.
In the learning lab if you are 15 years of age or younger you will need adult supervision.
15 years and older will not need supervision.
There are things such as 3D printing sewing art supplies and more!!!
This library opened in 2008!
The Teen only room has after hour programs for teens! The room makes you feel like you’re in the Tron movie yet it’s a safe and comfortable area for Teens!
There is a gas fire place where you can pull up a cozy book or magazine and get to reading. This set up makes me feel as if I’m in a cozy living room! This is by far one of the coziest and homie libraries I’ve ever encountered!
I love that there is a child’s space a teen space an adult are and 3 study rooms!
You can print copy and more!
From video games to board games and more!
This library is by far one of the most amazing libraries I’ve been too on my travels!
They even do scavenger hunts!!!!
Thank you so much for all of your hospitality,

They can often be found in front or near the library with their bike(s), which we have seen them steal from the Tualatin Commons, and they have been harassing and threatening us because they thought we were racing someone into the parking lot. (Our car is just loud!) Please watch out for these two, especially your children. We've had to ask library staff for help one night because we had seen them waiting for us in front of the library. One of their friends has been arrested. I will post photo of them if I get one.
This library can't be called a library much anymore. People are always on their phones inside and they talk loud enough that I can hear them from the opposite end of the library. If you want a quiet place to focus and read then this is not your best bet.
People keep their books checked out for much longer than necessary and you'll be lucky to find the book you want until their basically one month checkout time is up.
The staff are absolutely lovely and wonderful but they don't seem to keep the library...
Read moreThis is a great library! It's the best library I've ever been to. I'm not joking. Want to see a Mastedon skeleton? They have it along with mammoth tusks and facts about the area. All that was found in Tualatin.
The best part, for me at least, is the maker space! Whatever craft or hobby you might want to try, they probably have it. Lasercutter, 3D printers, clay and a kiln, stain glass equipment, leather working equipment, sewing machines... honestly, too much to list, just go check it out.
The staff that run it are very friendly and welcoming.
The ONLY downside are the hours it's open. Thursday for 2 hours, Saturday for...
