This is truly an awesome park. I was blown away by not just how much stuff there is, but also by how new and updated and clean everything is. Tualatin really does have the best parks in the portland metro area. We have been to a lot of parks but this one and jurgens are just the best.
This park includes a skate ramp area, multiple play structures for varying ages of kiddos, and basketball and tennis courts. They even have a dog area and lots of large sections of grassy areas and trails to walk on. Really there is something here for everyone. They also have the obligatory picnic and dining areas for gatherings and birthday parties and the like.
My kid had a great time here and while jurgens is only a block or two away I will still take the short drive here sometimes just so we can visit this place again more times in the future. Highly recommended to come here even if you don't live...
Read moreThis park pretty much has it all in my eyes. Though the area of the water to get it was small (at least the part I saw), it was full of people getting into the water with their kayaks. Just seeing the abundance of people getting in there, it was clear this was a highly rated place to come for that. The undercover areas offered (I believe for the most part, the majority of them need to be reserved) were nicely kept up. There was no garbage, or dirty areas within them. They make them worth renting. The park appears beautifully kept up in all ways (again at least the parts I saw). There are many trails that I saw an abundance of people, and dogs walking, jogging, riding bikes and scooters through. Everyone I saw seemed on the happier side, and in my eyes, that was showing they also...
Read moreSmooth, mostly paved (or cement) flat and wide trails. Great for walking, jogging, or bicycling. Lots of nature to look at, and as you head over the pedestrian bridge towards cook park, the noisy sound of traffic dissipates. I especially like the skatepark and the basketball courts. It has been easy to join others for a game of basketball and the community park. There is a pull-up bar to do chin-ups, and a rustic shelter to picnic or for cooking. Even though there is a dog park there, each and every dog that I have ever seen there has been well behaved and friendly. All in all, it's a quality park that favors an abundance of trees and has amenities to bring the community together such as a skatepark and...
