Avoid at all costs!!! (unless you have infinite amounts of time to waste and a deep seated need to give money to the people who waste it…)

I placed an order online and received an email and a text telling me I’d get a link to pre-pay when my order was ready. Got an email saying my order was ready, but no link. Replied to the text and email; nothing. Called 3 times before anyone even bothered to pick up and was told that I couldn’t pre-pay but I could use Aeropay to pay at the store.

Go there, wait 20 min in line only to find out that their payment app isn’t working and their ATM (with a $3 fee) isn’t either. I ask the person behind the counter if I can get cash from my bank and come back the next day. He says sure!

Come back the next day, with cash in hand this time because their tech definitely is broken, wait another 20 min in line and am told that they put my order back.

So, at this point, I’ve spent 40 min, plus the time to go to my bank to get cash, plus the time I spent ordering things online ahead of time so I could make my pick up easy, just in hopes of having the pleasure of giving them nearly $100 of my hard earned cash. Seriously, what and absolute shitshow. I get that it’s a weed store, but that doesn’t mean I should be expected to deal with an absolutely broken company. I mean, if you don’t want my money, just say so.

I literally live a block from this place and walk by it every single day, but will happily drive across town to Prime Leaf just so I don’t give them a cent.

** UPDATE The manager responded to my review and asked me to contact them. I wrote back 2 weeks ago and no news. If they can't even be bothered to answer their phone, I shouldn't be surprised they don't respond to an email. Seriously, just the worst 😂 This place...

Been coming here for over a year and some change now and I don’t think I’ll stop.

Prices are really reasonable, especially if you know what you like! As someone into extracts, the Friday 40% off on Genesis makes it extremely affordable. Have a wide selection of budget options all the way up to top-shelf.

Customer service is far and away the biggest reason I keep returning. Cooper, Tristan, and Jake are all great dudes and have gotten to know what I come in for. Always grateful when I leave a tip, no matter how small. Super sweet lady with long dark hair that works the registers is a sweetheart too and has also learned my name. Even the security guys up at the front are always super calm and friendly.

Long story short, shop Downtown or don’t shop for cannabis in Tucson at all.

EDIT 06/30: Had my first negative experience here today :( I’m usually not excited to get the older fella with the short hair and the glasses because he’s not as friendly as everyone else. Today he was just downright mean. If he would’ve read the notes I left, he would’ve seen that I was paying in-store with Aeropay and not, in fact, “messaging at his register”. First time I haven’t left a tip in a while. Do better man, your coworkers are...

I recently visited The Downtown Dispensary, and I have to say, it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming, offering guidance on both the medicinal and recreational products they carry.

The atmosphere is clean, modern, and well-organized, making it easy to navigate through the wide range of flower, edibles, concentrates, and accessories. I was impressed by their selection of high-quality strains, especially the locally sourced options, and I really appreciated how they took the time to explain the different effects and uses of each product.

Pricing is fair, with some great deals and discounts for new customers, which is always a nice touch. The budtender was patient and helped me find exactly what I was looking for without feeling rushed.

They also offer online ordering, which is super convenient, and my order was ready for pickup as promised.

All in all, Downtown Dispensary provides a top-tier experience with excellent products, helpful staff, and a welcoming environment. I’ll definitely be returning for all my future...
