I'm a regular here, and I prefer my smoothies from Jamba Juice over any other smoothie place here in town. Their smoothies are smooth in taste and well blended. Not to mention flavorful. I love the mang-a-go-go, and it is one of my favorite smoothies from here. The service is okay. There are some teens or younger employees, should I say, who just give surface level customer service. They just take your payment, hand you your order, and that's about it. I hadn't been in a few months and decided to go for a smoothie only to find out that they were now selling Auntie Anne's pretzels! I was so excited because I love Auntie Anne's but could only get it if I went to the mall, which wasn't very often. I don't usually get food from Jamba because, in my opinion, their food isn't all that good. But I thought, if they're selling Auntie Anne's pretzels, which I've had several times, surely it would be worth buying. I was sadly mistaken. The past few times I've gone to get pretzel dogs, the bread has been thin and crunchy. Not at all like the ones from the mall, which are usually fluffy and delicious. It takes them 7-10 minutes to make an order, only for it to come out smelling and tasting horribly. Today, I decided to call and nicely let them know how unsatisfied I was. A young man answered the phone. First, I asked for a manager, and I was told by him that they did not have a manager. I wasn't surprised since it doesn't seem like any older adults work there. It seems like there are just a bunch of teens. Maybe some in their early 20's. Anyhow, after I explained to him the consistency and low quantity of the pretzels, he said that the pretzels were probably overcooked, which is why they tasted so bad, I guess? He explained why the pretzels didn't fill up the cup as well, but I wasn't too concerned with that as I was the quality. He didn't offer me anything to compensate for the 'overcooked' pretzel dogs I received. Nor did he try to. I didn't ask either. But common courteousy tells me that if a customer isn't satisfied with their order, especially if you acknowledged that something was overcooked, you'd think he would try to fix the problem. Or even take my information to leave for a manager if he didn't have that authority. I think he apologized, but that was it. I spent $14 for goodness sake. I threw the rest in the trash after forcing myself to eat a few. It wasn't worth it. My smoothie was good, though. I should've just got that. I'd rather get my pretzels from the mall than here. I'd advise anyone else to do so. At least you'll get your...
Read moreAn “okay” experience at most. When we walked in, we noticed that there was nobody behind the counter. Assuming they were just in the back, we looked at the menu to decide what we wanted. There were a group of teens/younger kids on the booth in the corner we had noticed when we we came in 5 minutes before, and as it turns out the employee supposed to be working at the front came up to get behind the counter, as I think he finally noticed we were ready to order. Though he wasn’t rude, he never said “Hi”, “How are you”, or even just “What can I get you”. We placed our order and waited to the side. As we were waiting, a doordasher came in looking for a pickup order, and ended up having to wait on it for about 10 minutes because it wasn’t even started until after he arrived to pick it up. It wasn’t a bad experience for us but also not the good experience you would hope for the customers of your business to have either. In my opinion, and based on the other reviews I’ve read of this particular store, it appears that the kid/kids working the store, I assume, by themselves could really benefit from having a more experienced employee on schedule with them to help things get done and operate as I’m sure they’re...
Read moreAs a former food service worker, I try to extend Grace to employees especially in times where so many business are understaffed. That being said, I am truly disappointed and dissatisfied each time I have come to this location. The last two times I have come I have been treated as an inconvenience. Employees are not knowledgeable on menu items, they prefer you don’t ask questions and just order. Drive thru employees are far more concerned about ticket times than accurate orders or customer satisfaction. I have been given the wrong order twice, and on a previous visit when my fiancé asked our cashier to split our payment, some cash and the rest on card, she attempted to keep the cash as a tip and charged the entire ticket to our card. Thankfully our banking app notified us and we asked for our cash payment back. She was startled and quick to apologize, we did not notify a manager. I will say that many of the employees appear to be school aged girls, I truly hope that the manager at this location provides them with an attitude check/reality check, before this location goes under! Please take responsibility for the service and attitudes of your staff, and lead them in the right...
