Target — Attraction in Turlock

Yesterday, I was in the Turlock Target. Not only does much of their clothing look like something from the 60s or Little House on the Prairie, but the store was not neat and tidy or even clean.

Additionally, I went through a process recently to be able to write a check in the Turlock Target. However, yesterday when I attempted to write a check to pay for some birthday items for a friend, my check was denied. Instead of being sympathetic and helpful, the inexperienced store clerk and the manager named Billy were completely unhelpful and even embarrassed me in front of a growing line of people. I was mortified!

If I had not needed the items immediately, I would have left my merchandise at the checkout counter and left the store. And thank goodness I had my credit card with me that day.

I doubt I will ever shop at the Turlock Target again, and in fact, I will not recommend this store to my friends or family members.

Why go through the process to be able to write a check in Target only to be mortified in front of a line full of people?

Added note: Before shopping at Target, I had just picked up some antibiotics for my cat at my local vet. They had no problem running my check. So what’s up with Target? And why was the manager...

Clean store with nicely stocked and well organized shelves is what has me returning to this store for years now. I’m especially forever thankful and grateful for the mobile order for pick up as well as the drive up and go for mobile orders! I’ve never had a bad experience nor have I ever waited longer than 5 min for either. It’s always been a quick, smooth and successful experience! If there is ever anything wrong with my order for example, there’s no more inventory of the product I ordered, I immediately get alerted via email or app notifications about my order and what product is not available as well as my options to either ship it to my house for free or to just cancel this item. Even cancelled items don’t take days to refund money either like most places! Definitely will be a forever customer...

They do have a good amount of stuff, just no respect. I went yesterday buying birthday gifts, and the cashier I got was incredibly rude. She was blonde, old with a strong accent, and kept forcing me to scan the items on my phone target app before she would scan it herself. When I scanned it, showed her the price and it didn't seem right, she took it upon herself and used her own phone to "prove me wrong" and kept being very aggressive. There was circle deals on my target app, that discounted the toys I was buying. She refused to discount them to the apps price. I worked at target for 2 years, I know damn well you can price match. Even to Amazon's price. She would not let me speak to a manager, and made me go on my way because there was someone...
