Broadway Square is an enjoyable, attractive, bustling mall that has something for everybody! From the major stores to the toy and specialty shops (like Go (and also Spencer gifts, which I've loved ever since I was just a kid in 1975)) to the restaurants to the cookie and ice cream places this mall has it all! There's good stuff for everybody. And just to the left of the mall there's The Twisted Root burger place, where I got a really good hamburger. Two of the really good things in that mall are that kiosk that has all of those rechargeable gift cards for stores, restaurants and services, etc and the Roll'n Rolls ice cream kiosk where instead of getting dinner and a show you get dessert and a show. He is excellent at making the finest, richest and most flavorful and interestingly shaped ice cream creations around AND... after you've placed the order for whatever it is you're getting you can watch the fascinating mixing and shaping methods and techniques going into creating it for you right before your eyes. There's all kinds of additions, flavors, toppings, cookies, and a whole bunch of other good stuff (like Nutella, one of my favorites). Fun for an individual or a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUsually this establishment is pretty good all around. There's a variety of stores and things to browse. However, while waiting in line for GameStop to open, an older gentleman that was part of the staff asked the people who were in line (us) to scoot up to get out of the way of the entrance to another store. We all did so, at the expense of other's personal space. One of my friends talked back to him since this older gentleman was very rude about us scooting up, saying things like "Come on people, scoot up or you will get kicked out." Now, I'm not a claustrophobe or anything, but this gentleman was suggesting the people in line be packed together like sardines without any space in between. After my friend told him to calm down and that he needed to chill out he kicked my friend out of the mall. For exercising his first amendment to freedom of speech. I thought this was America, not communist China. Terrible service from the upper...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Santa set up was mean to special needs autistic children. While the group leader (a parent) was busy at a shop two autistic boys age 11 and 9 ran up to see Santa that was standing by the exit. Overly excited, the 2 boys had their phones and were trying to take a picture. The crew slapped at the direction of the boys screaming no picture. Disappointed, the mother decided because they were so mean to autistic children she elected not to take professional pictures and leave and not participate after having to explain to those boys. One kept saying with tears š¢ Bad Santa because neither boy understood why santa would act like this. Quite sad, its all about money that they were even going to spend Now those boys have had a horrible experience that has to be explained if that's even possible. It should have been handled differently by Santa & Crew at Broadway Square Mall in Tyler Texas. @tyler Its disgusting to do that to...
