Macy's — Attraction in Union Gap

How embarrassing it is to go to a restaurant knowing you have the funds available on your credit card and they declined it. I spent 44 minutes on the phone answering every question to verify me with 5 different people of extreme accents just to find out that somebody has to call me within 24 to 48 hours or get a letter in up to 15 days cuz they couldn't verify me. How is my card number, the code, my name, address, phone number and my method in which I pay not enough to verify me???!!! The only thing that's changed is my phone number, how would they even know I changed it?? why is that suspicious enough to block my card??? The gentleman at the Clinique counter at the Union Gap Macy’s has AMAZING customer service. I wish I caught his name (I’ll update if I see him on my next trip, because I’ll def be back). I popped in to find two specific items. He grabbed them for me right away. I vaguely expressed interest in trying a few new things, and he gave me good information (and personal opinion) without up-selling me. He then let me know that I could save a percentage if i waited for a sale to start, and when I explained that I had needed the product the same day, he gave me a small discount anyways. I'm not very impressed with the Union Gap Macy's lately. My son and I usually shop in the men's, plus size women's, and housewares departments. The departments we frequent are becoming more sparse with merchandise and the items they do have aren't all that good. They recently moved the women's plus size department into the main store and it's horrible. Everything is all mixed together and theres no inspiration whatsoever.
