Took my son to GameStop today to spend his birthday money. James waited on us. My son asked the price of the 2ds. And asked the price of the 3ds. James barked at my son and said you wanted the price on the 2ds. And then gripes that he needed to raise the price of the 3ds. My son then wanted a couple of games for the ds. James couldn’t find the case for one of the games. My son found the case, James literally ripped it out of my sons hands. When it came time to pay. James was put out that we were using cash. I was counting the $200 plus dollars out. James ripped the cash out of my hands as I was counting it!!!!!! I have never had a clerk rip money out of my hands. His behavior was terrible and should not work with the public. I have worked retail for 30 years, I understand having a bad day but this was completely unacceptable! I told him that we were wanting to purchase a PS five, but that didn’t seem to deter him from the fact that he needed to go eat his lunch because obviously that was way more important than a customer wanting to spend hundreds of dollars at his business. Read moreI was looking for a Nintendo Switch and it has been hard to find lately because of the pandemic. At first i found a used switch at gamestop and the last one in the city at all. it ended up being broken so I returned it with no issues. I waited a few days and called in to see if they had any new switches every day. A few days later they had them in NEW and mike had it ready with the warranty for me. Both men working at gamestop now have been very to the point but professional and curtious to me and cautious to the pandemic, doing only call in curb side pickup untill things open up.
