I came here very excited to see what products they had here, as I’ve been wanting to go for a while and love Indian food. Unfortunately, the cashiers behind the counter were rude when I approached them kindly, not greeting me in return. They were hesitant to ring me up for my 2 items and kept speaking to each other under their breath in another language. They continued to talk amongst each other and make disgusted faces at me while laughing during my entire transaction. It wasn’t until on my way out of the store, I noticed a white man who had purchase multiple frozen meals and greeted them with the same “hi” I approached them with, is when both cashiers lit up and greeted the customer appropriately. Today she actually walked away from the register and another customer had to ask for assistance with ringing up our purchases. However, for a lot of us living in this area, it saves a trip going all the way to Edison. Frozen foods, spices, snacks, supplements, health and beauty supplies, cookies, easy prep food packets, staples like rice, lentils, flour etc., are all available at reasonable prices with staff that are no different from typical mega Indian stores, a bit self occupied and introverted, but helpful if pushed.
