I didnt read any reviews yet, but after I post this, I will. I want to see if anything matches with what I say. My boyfriend and I are trying to find a good place to eat these days, which seems impossible. We were walking by and noticed this place was now open. I did not want to eat there. I had a bad feeling, mainly because it was empty (usually a bad sign) but my boyfriend convinced me to give it a try. I am Greek so I was hoping it would turn out to be good and id find a place to go so I didn't have to cook all the time. Unfortunately, I am very picky. My boyfriend isn't picky. I figured we should give it a few months more before going there, just because new places might need more time to be in business to really get the hang of it but no, he made me go there.
The girl at the register (with the long eyelashes) was really nice. The food was disgusting. Nothing that we had even remotely tasted Greek. They said the chicken was white meat. The chicken was pink and undercooked but it also looked like it was dark meat, so I am pretty confused about that one. I cant even express how horrible this food was. I tasted the chicken- from the thinnest part that looked like it was hopefully cooked. I was going to just fake that I liked it and eat it as to avoid an argument with my bf. I couldn't though. It was really bad. I was going to fake that I was full. I decided I would take it home and give it to the neighbors dog. My bf wasn't eating all of his food. He usually eats so fast, but he was kind of picking through the food. I realized he didnt like it but I wasn't going to bring it up. I just wanted a night out with no drama or negativity no matter what. I was wondering if he would tell me what he really thought about the food. I waited for him to tell me it was awful...and he did. He was actually mad that the food was bad...which is really bad considering he is military and typically eats anything. Rice wasn't even close to greek rice (pilaf). Greek salad was not horrible, but not at all good. The dressing that they provided did not taste like Greek dressing. It was a weird orange color and almost tasted like it was blended with some type of pepper but I was not feeling adventurous enough to taste it again to try to find out. Tzatziki wasn't made the way I do it (the right way). Hopefully they get it together and can learn to cook the food thoroughly...maybe make it taste good too. I didnt want to write this review but my bf was urging me to write it. He has never written a review and never cared enough to ever want to write one, until now. Give it a try and judge for yourself. Hopefully its a better...
Read moreSo... This is what I'll say... This is my second time coming to this place and they haven't disappointed me yet. As a matter of fact, the only disappointment I feel is in myself for not taking pictures of the food before I ate. This was an online order. I'm frugal (cheap) so I try not to order takeout through avenues that Mark up the prices and add a bunch of fees (think Ubereat or Door dash) so I was pleasantly surprised that they had the option for me to place my pickup order on their website. The process to order on their site was pretty easy. When I arrived at the restaurant, they had limited parking in the front and more parking behind the restaurant. If you do park in the back, there's a cut through between the buildings so you don't have to go all the way around to get to the entrance. When I walked in, I received a friendly greeting and our food was right there packaged nicely and ready to go. We both had the chicken gyro. Really flavorful and delicious. The gyro comes with fries on it but on the site, you have the option to place them on the side along with several other customizations. He ordered the pita bread (it was really tasty) along with the Greek salad and I ordered the rice side. Everything was fresh and delicious. I really want to come...
Read moreOur first time eating here. Staff was very friendly and food came out quickly. We had their version of a loaded fry, garlicky fries with feta, lamb & beef as the choice of protein, spicy sauce, scallions. The fries were really delicious. I added a side of tzatziki because I love cucumbers, it has a strong touch of dill, which I didn't love but it was still yummy. My wife got the Gyro pita wrap and loved it. Said that is was soft and chewy and the meat was warm and flavorful. We will go back and may try other choices. The only negative was that there was a section of several tables where the benches were wet and tables were filthy and the floor had a spill that needed to be mopped. So we had to sit by the door, it was the only clean table and every time the door opened we felt the freezing cold wind. I'm sure it's probably just due to being so busy. Would...
