Uintah County Western Park — Attraction in Vernal

Came here for the ice rink with my son. It was a great experience. The bleachers have some of the seats under a heated overhead radiator, which few other rinks have. Not all the seats have it, but still a great feature. The locker rooms are updated and very nice. There was food available to purchase. There's even wheelchair accessible bleachers with a ramp for anyone who has a hard time with stairs. Some improvements that could be better: I do wish the chain-link fence rail in front of that side of the bleachers were shorter or something less obstructing of the view for people in the front rows. Similarly I wish the two sections of bleachers had better visibility from one side to the other, because any of the seats next to the middle divider are no good for having a clear view of the full rink. I'm thinking if they want the separation, maybe just use the plexiglass that surrounds the rink? Not a huge deal, but it did make picking seats awkward, and I didn't see anyone sitting right next to the divider. But still, overall, I would...

Was biking past and noticed all the horses. So myself and my daughter stopped to see what was going on. Living in this small town has made me fall in Love with Vernal. They were having horse competition for the kids. Most of what we watched was INSPIRING. A little 6 yr old girl named Liberty and her horse Fortune won🙏. The western center was Clean and everyone was kind. Had a wonderful afternoon 🌞 watching...

We went the Junior Rodeo and had an amazing experience. Very well organized and ran. So much talent. Highly recommend going to the upcoming 2 Junior rodeo events. Variety of food and concessions. Very clean bathrooms.
