This is a destination!! Don't miss this place if you are anywhere nearby. The menu is amazing. The food outstanding. A map of the river in the floor leads to the restrooms. The service is excellent. We had the sunburned mussels. I've had mussels all over the US and Canada. These are hands down the best anywhere. The shrimp artichoke Caesar was good but they drowned the salad in some cheese dressing. Leave that off next time. Otherwise it's a wilted lettuce salad not a Caesar. The hamburger with green chilies, avocado, etc was incredible. My husband ate half and simply couldn't finish. One burger is enough for 2 people. The Parmesan fries were excellent but eat them hot when they first come out. This place was so good and had such an interesting menu we're coming back for lunch before we leave Vernal. I want to try their fried cauliflower with buffalo sauce. Frankly I'm tempted to just get appetizers so I can try more of their interesting menu. What are these people doing in Vernal!?! Second day: the fried Buffalo cauliflower is so delicious. Love the Sriracha sauce. I asked them to add enough to make it pink.. perfect! Oysters Rockefeller excellent. Side salad with blue cheese excellent. The dressing must be homemade it's so good. The homemade rolls with honey butter were so excellent yesterday (they came with the meal) we ordered them as a side today with our salad. Honestly I'd almost move to Vernal this place is so good.

Pro: Affordable prices for portion sizes. Food came out quickly. Con: Overall felt "meh" about my experience. I've had better, I've had worse. I was really excited to go here, but left hungry and disappointed. I would give it another try if I'm back in the area, maybe I went on an "off" night. Atmosphere: Large restaurant, half of it has functioning AC. Typical rustic steakhouse, nothing fancy. Service: We had a reservation, at first they couldn't find my reservation, then once they did it was still a 15 minute wait before we were seated. They seemed disorganized and weren't rude but also weren't overly friendly or welcoming. They were there to do a job and that's what it felt like. Food: Everything was good except for my prime rib, which should have been the star. I ordered medium and it was well done, dry as a bone, and completely unseasoned. It ended up going to my dogs. I did order the double cut, so maybe that was my mistake. Too difficult to perfect it due to the size. The garlic mashed potatoes are fantastic, we appreciated the rolls and butter which were comparable to Texas Roadhouse. My husband had the Oysters Rockefeller and garlic steak; he was pleased.

Was at this restaurant today with my family, ordered Tomahawk Ribeye 32 oz size for $79.99 (see pictures attached)! Meat was “ok”, nothing special, but was half-a-size instead — approximately 16 oz. How do I know it was 16 oz — see, please, picture attached showing raw meat they sell in bags — 10 pieces in a bag, 16 oz each piece/slice of meat! At the end waitress brought bill of $89.99+tax+tips 😂. I asked, what happened to the offer written on the board at the entrance (again, see photo, attached), which says $79.99! She didn’t know what to reply at first, then changed the bill, said it was a yesterday’s offer, regarding meat twice less in size — she said meat shrank! Well, when I fry meat it usually shrank about 20-30%. Not twice as less. We didn’t argue, we paid in full, left tips. I will never stop there, pathetic place. These liars own my family apologies. I wanted to have bright weekend with my wife and four kids. Blessings!

I'm always hesitant to leave bad reviews at restaurants because I've worked in the food industry before. My husband and I have been here many times and have always had good if not great experiences until last night...

We walked in, got sat, and the night went like this Server: Asks us what we want Us: Orders all you can eat steak S: Great. Puts in the order S: *Comes back with what we ordered including steaks that were a good size and cooked nicely. U: Thanks her, puts in another several orders back to back S: Brings out increasingly small and tough steaks with lots of fat and gristle that I can't chew through U: Eats what steak we can S: Brings out an order U: We asked for another order since we're only getting a couple oz off of each steak at this point S: I can't put in another order until you finish at least half of the one you just got. U: Um, okay? Confused because she had been the whole time S: Walks away and sends the manager to peek at our table over my shoulder ever so "discreetly" U: Confused and uncomfortable at this point, just wanting to leave S: Comes back U: Asks for to go boxes and check so we can leave asap. S: Comes back with a single small to go box and the check U: Ask for one for the steak S: Tells us we can't take it with us and that I'm lucky she's letting me take the leftover side home U: Asks why and when things changed. Tells her we've never had an issue taking home what's left of one steak. Asks if we can take these home and then know for future. S: No, I can't do that. The policy has always been this way Leaves and sends manager to come talk to us Manager: Asks us how the food was. U: We tell her it was good at first but there was a bit of steak we literally couldn't chew through. Asked her if we could take home any of the (about 8 oz) steak we had left over. M: Tells us no, that the server has been part of management and that there are lots of people who order the all you can eat and take like 7 steaks home. U: Tells her that this is only a little bit of steak and we don't want to waste it. M: Tells us the kitchen staff will be mad if we don't send it back and leaves S: Picks up the check. Asks if we want change (we paid with cash) U: No. Leaves.

I get that sometimes policies aren't followed or known by all employees, but we have been here no less than 30 times. We always get the all you can eat steak meals and have never had any issues taking the leftovers home. If they're cracking down on this policy and have noticed that several people who do this are only doing it to take food home, then they should put the policy on the menu, AND have their servers let the customers know this when they order.

At no point in this interaction was I rude, I literally just had a question and wanted an answer. Our server had zero tact and gave us ZERO heads up as we were ordering reorders. Maybe such a small amount of steak shouldn't have such a big deal made about it, but it wasn't about the steak. It was about the tone that the server took and the way she handled things. My hubby and I have ALWAYS tipped at least 25% but we couldn't justify tipping more than 12% with how uncomfortable we were by the end of the experience. We won't be going back for a while, and I hope they start communicating better and are nicer to...

This was the most horrible dining experience I have ever encountered. Literally everything was bad. Dirty plates, waitress not remembering to bring anything. We got 1 to 2 salads at a time 5min in between. The last one came at the same time as the entree. My husband salads had whole lettuce leaves so he had to cut it before he could eat it. Mine was just entirely lettuce. It had ONE small onion, ONE grape tomato, and ONE cucumber slice on it. Then they proceeded to bring our meal piece by piece with minutes in between. This I think was because they had forgotten what went in our meal, and we kept having to ask her for the next part. The kids meals were supposed to be spaghetti and meat balls, and they didn't bring meat balls. When we asked about it, she claimed we never told her we wanted meatballs, and that we needed to specify when we had ordered (which we did). Really didn't appreciate her arguing with us about it either. In the end they went and got meat balls for the kids when we kept saying... yes we did tell you meat balls. We had ordered two extra sides of a salad and a baked potato, and we kept having to ask for them as she came back out. We eventually got all of the components to our meal. The absolute worst part of this was the steak. My husband and I both ordered a medium rare. The stake was marbled with gristle, and was dangerously underdone. It was practically blue in the center. It was also cold in the center. Just in the center. This is how I know it was undercooked. It was seared nicely and warm on the outside, but raw in the middle. We ate it anyway not wanting to complain again (bad move). We should've just sent it back. By morning he and I were both very sick with stomach aches and all that usually accompanies a stomach ache. On top of this they are charging $22+ for this stake. If I am paying that much for a meal it better be good food that doesn't give me food poisoning, and some quality service. Do NOT go here. It was again by far the absolute worst place I have ever been. If i could give it 0 stars i would. P.S. The plus side is the food and service is soooo bad, it will help you forget that the decor looks like a run down Peter Piper Pizza, complete with mismatch chairs, and...

We came here a few weeks ago for the first time and had a wonderful experience, so we expected the same today. It was the polar opposite. We were there for an early dinner at 5 pm; there were not a lot of other diners there. Our server (Jody) took our order and brought out the appetizer (raptor tail) and waters. The appetizer was delicious. We both ordered the 8oz wagyu steak special. I added some scampi shrimp. I chose the garlic parmesan fries-based on her recommendation- and salad; my husband ordered mashed potatoes and clam chowder. Jody eventually brought the food and said she'd be right back to check on us but quickly left before I even had a chance to ask her to bring water (I ran out while waiting for the food). My steak was not good. Wagyu is usually very tender and flavorful due to a marbeling throughout the cut...that is why it's more expensive. Mine didn't have any marbeling and was tough and overdone. The fries were greasy and soft, so I couldn't eat them. I also wanted to order a side of vegetables, as I misread the menu and thought it came with asparagus. I still wanted a refill of water. Jody didn't come back to check on us. I flagged down another server who was in our area, and she offered to bring more water and put in the order for the vegetables. I ended up eating some of the steak (I had planned to ask for a different cut, but my blood sugar was dropping, and I had to eat something to avoid a low incident). Jody came over to drop off the vegetables toward the end of our meal and noticed someone else had brought more water and then disappeared again. We sat there for about 15 minutes after finishing our meal waiting for her to come back, and finally had to go to the hostess to ask her to find someone to bring the check so we could leave. She dropped it off and quickly left again. I have no idea why we got such horrible service this time, but it was not deserved nor appreciated. I give 0 stars for service, and even though the raptor tails were a 5, the entrée was not up to...
