This Home Depot is 4 stop signs from my house, so I go here pretty regularly. The store is clean and I’d say 90% of the employees are nothing but sweet and a pleasure to see. Some employees, mainly one who works in the electrical department, are really good at letting you know you’re not welcome and making you wonder what on earth this woman has had to deal with to cause her to be so negative towards literally every customer I’ve ever seen her interact with. But I do see other employees greet her warmly, so I imagine her attitude toward customers has only come through some drama and bullshit. I dunno.

On a different note, I did find this orange cat there. He was standing in the middle of the parking lot meowing endlessly. I assumed at the time this was due to distress and not some sort of “intellectual disability” (the internet has informed me you’re not allowed to say retardation anymore, even in reference to a cat). I brought him home with me, you see, because my elderly neighbors had a cat who had to be put down and I guess I like to meddle in other peoples business for some reason. When I arrived with the kitten pretending it just showed up in my yard, I discovered they had already adopted 3 kittens not long before. So there I was with this cat. I drove back to Home Depot, intending to just drop the cat back off in the parking lot. But as I arrived I realized that would likely look like I was dumping an animal, and I can’t imagine any police officer listening to me try and explain I was simply returning the cat as if it was excess material purchased from the store. So me and Mr. Meow returned home and it’s turned out pretty good.

Ultimately I gave them 4/5 stars because the quality of the parking lot cat is mostly good, but it meows endlessly, it sits on top of my tablet when I’m trying to use it, and one time it pounced at my face from my lap as I was trying to ignore it. Maybe if they improve the quality of the parking lot cats I’d be able to give them the...

Horrible Horrible Horrible service. They mislead you giving you false information to get you to place orders. They gave us a delivery date and have changed it 3 times. On top of that we were told all items we ordered were in stock except a custom made item which according to the sales rep was to arrive the next day. From there everything has been such a nightmare, turns out the item didn’t arrive the next day and now 10 days later no custom made item has arrived, we were told another of our items ordered was not in stock and wouldn’t arrive till the 16th of Feb. After calling 30 or 40 times to ask about items not delivered yet we were told our second item would not be restocked at their store so we canceled that and went to Lowes. Manager we spoke to was a morron and gave us more false information about our delivery date which turns out wont be until 3 days from now. Again, our delivery date has been changed 3 times and all with no excuse and/or mistakes on their part like putting our order form in the wrong box for delivery with wrong truck. Everyone there is incompetent and at this point I am so fed up dealing with Home Depot I am trying to cancel the entire order, and guess what that’s another pain in the butt because I know have to talk to another morron manager to get them to approve the cancellation. If I could id give them...

Ordered granite countertops, dishwasher, and gas range on 12/30. Appliances scheduled to deliver 1/5. Received call to confirm delivery on 1/4. Confirmed between 7AM-11AM. By 11:30AM on 1/5, no appliances. Called the delivery company and was informed that they don’t have the equipment. Called GE and was informed that the items won’t be ready for another 5 days and may deliver within 7 after that. Called Home Depot home services to formally complain. I was offered a discount or to cancel the order. I clearly declined both and let them know I will be calling the store. Called the appliance department where I purchased the equipment and was informed that nothing could be done. Spoke to ASM Irene and was informed that there is nothing she can do. Requested a call from store manager Adam Vandebrake when he returned on Monday. No call from Adam on Monday 1/7.

I then called in on Wednesday 1/9 to home services and was told that the order was cancelled.

The only phone call I received from Home Depot was on Saturday 1/5 afternoon when they called to see if everything was delivered in good order. Obviously it was not.

As of yet, I have not received any of my money back for these items. Nor have I been offered any form of resolution.

Buy appliances from Lowe’s as they carry the merchandise in stock or at a nearby...

42 days, 5 trips, 340 miles later we finally get Home Depot to install our blinds in our home. 42 days of no privacy to the outside world! The person (BXE1929) taking the order was incompetent and rude (I should have just walked out at that time.) Once we left we had to drive back to have the order corrected. They never contacted the installer and told us that we had to come pick up the blinds before they could call the installer. After multiple calls we asked for the phone number to the installer because we still never heard from them. Later they tell us we have a credit because we picked up the blinds but that we would need to come in to get it. Once we came in they then told us that they didn’t know why the credit wasn’t done over the phone. Once the installer came he couldn’t do a thing because the store cut the blinds incorrectly. We had to make another trip to explain this to them and get them re-cut. They had no one there that could help so we had to go back home and wait for them to contact us when they were ready. We were also told that they would compensate us for their screw ups but that never happened. Next time I will either install them myself or find a more reputable company to work with. NOTE to salesperson BXE1929 (whatever your name is): You need a lesson on how NOT to disrespect veterans.

This home Depot has absolutely terrible customer service. I needed to buy supplies to put up rain gutters which I had never done before. As soon as I entered the store at 12:31 p.m. I asked one of the associates if they could have somebody help me in the rain gutter aisle. After about 15 minutes of waiting, I asked again for somebody to come and help me. Another 10 minutes went by, I asked again. Finally, after 35 minutes of waiting I went and asked to speak with a manager. The manager finally got to me at 1:15 p.m. and said that he did not have adequate staff to help me. If you only have a few employees that can help with certain things you need to promote cross training and diversify your staff, that's just the bottom line to make sure that your customers are happy. Time is money and I don't have time to sit at home Depot for an hour to buy a couple items. Don't waste your time at this location. Go to another home Depot or to Lowe's.
