Trader Joe's was a great grocery store experience! So many helpful workers n smiling faces. My granddaughter was with me n she enjoyed the Free samples especially the corn dog the mn fixed for her without mustard. Raina (6) asked a lady with black hair to help her find n she took the time to help Raina n engaged in a conversation with her. I was totally impressed with this level of service as together they decided on a chocolate bar. A man working by checkout heard Raina say she wanted a cart , He came over to her , then said as soon as one comes available Il bring it to you n he did just that. The shopping experience was great for me too! So many things available at our local stores especially organize gluten n DAIRY free along with fresh produce. We don't get to Indy often But we WILL BE BACK TO Trader Joe's when we do.
We walked to Panera bread next while waiting for my daughter to return from her doctors appointment. What a delight! An older gentlemen waited on us n he was so fun talking to Raina. She ended up with a delicious sugar cookie n lemon orange drink with no charge to us. Of course when mom returned Rain said Let's eat lunch here n we all agreed! After purchasing our lunch we all set under the umbrella n enjoyed our meal. Thank u Panera Bread for making this a great...
Read moreTraffic flow inside the store was terrible. Some merchandise on shelves was completely out of reach for customers & other employees especially the Distilled water. It took 3 different employees to reach the product for 2 different shoppers. I was thankful to those employees who assisted with locating & reaching needed products for me. I truly appreciated their assistance. Once it was time to check out my purchases the process was a nightmare not only for me but at least 2 other shoppers that I observed. The credit/debit card reader wasn't working properly. Since my card wasn't approved after the initial reading attempt I then had to enter every single # on my card only to be denied again. Having already paid $100.00 cash I was asked if I could supply a check for the balance owed. Not having a check with me a friend in front of me who had already gone through the same process gave the cashier a check for the balance on my groceries for which I repaid her once I arrived home. The cashier kept her cool the entire time for which she should be commended. It will be a long time before I return to Vincennes Walmart after that exhausting experience if ever. Maybe it was just a bad day/time to shop. No matter, I don't want to go back for an experience...
Read moreI only needed a few items so I thought I could grab what I needed, use the self checkout, and be on my way. I should've known better. They were out of everything I needed, as usual. I got a few things & although I don't like their self checkouts, I went ahead to them because they only had 4 lanes open and they all had long lines. I had 5 small items. As usual, it wouldn't accept my coupon (although it was not expired, it said it was) so a cashier had to come over to help me. It took about 10mins to get through the line. It's like that every time I use their self checkouts! I don't have any problems with them at other stores. And I still didn't get my coupon discount. I wanted blackberries too but the few that they...
