Extremely Busy! If you're looking to get in and out in a short time, don't come here. Parking is difficult to find (considering it shares a parking lot with one of the entrances to Cumberland Mall. The place is usually packed and so are the Costco Gas Pumps. If you need gas, go shopping first and the wait in line for 30 plus minutes to fill up your gas tank. They have a pharmacy, install tires while you shop, they have a vision center and can perform eye exams, hearing center that does hearing tests and sells hearing aids, they sell appliances inside like washers, dryers, refrigerators, microwaves, dishwashers, ceiling fans with lights, computers, printers/ink, cell phones, Big Screen TV's, fresh produce, butchered meat, tasty (cooked) rotisserie chickens (on $5), clothes, home goods and upon checking out (lines are 30 plus minutes long including the self checkout lines) on the the other side of the checkouts is a snake bar (serving fresh pizza, hot dogs, smoothies, fountain drinks including pink lemonade, weird sandwiches, churro's and other items). 4 stars because the the aisles aren't marked and it's difficult to find someone in the store to ask where something is. I circled the store twice looking for Pepsi (36 pack for $10) and couldn't locate anyone to ask where something was. Hopefully, they'll get their act together like Walmart (Walmart has an app for your smartphone that will tell you about a product you are searching for like which aisle, where at on the aisle and how many in stock of that product; this makes finding things easy without having to pull out your hair trying to find a store associate to help you locate something). Store hours of operation are as follows: Monday - Friday: 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM Saturday: 9:30 AM - 7:00 PM Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Hope this review helps others out! Sincerely, Jacob August 11, 2019

I've been a loyal Costco shopper for quite some time, and one of the things that keeps me coming back is their amazing selection of premade meals. Whether you're in the mood for a quick lunch or looking for dinner solutions, Costco has you covered. Their premade meals are not only delicious but also very convenient for busy individuals or families. One thing to keep in mind is that this particular Costco location can get extremely busy on weekdays during lunchtime. To avoid the crowds, I usually plan my visits during less hectic hours. Nevertheless, the quality and variety of premade meals available make it well worth the visit. From their mouthwatering rotisserie chicken to a wide array of salads, sushi, and more, you can find something to satisfy any craving. The portion sizes are generous, which makes it great for sharing or enjoying leftovers. Additionally, the prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity you get. The friendly and helpful staff at this location enhance the shopping experience, making it easier to navigate through the crowds during peak hours. While the checkout lines can get long, they move relatively quickly, so the wait is not too bad. In summary, Costco's premade meals are a real gem, and despite the weekday lunchtime rush, this location remains a go-to spot for my shopping needs. If you're a fan of delicious and convenient meals, give it a try – just time your visits strategically to avoid the lunchtime chaos!

I purchased a Costco coddle pullout couch for 848 dollars with mold on it. The original price of the couch was 1000 dollars, but it was marked down because new models were coming out. It had the * symbol next to the price meaning they were trying to sell off the remaining inventory to make space. The couch comes in 2 boxes. While making the purchase we notice one of the boxes had water stains at the bottom of it and we asked to replace that box with another one. We thought the second box was fine, but it had the same issue as the first box. We didn’t notice it because it was laying with the water stains down on the cart. When we reached home and started unboxing we noticed the water had made its way all the way to the couch. And the couch has mold on it. We had to rent out a U-Haul to bring the couch to our apartment. Returning the couch was expensive, time consuming, and way too much effort. We put in so much effort to bring the couch home to see Costco selling damaged goods. It was disappointing. We reached out to the assistant manager Richard multiple times, and he is trying to compensate for this issue of mold on the brand new couch of 850 dollars by giving us a 50 dollars reimbursement. Even if he’s busy and he says that he will reach out, usually it was us who had to reach out again. So, overall it felt unfair, but we were tired of having to call them everyday and having to argue with them about this. So, we just said okay.

While gas prices for premium unleaded fuel are excellent and can't be beat by any other station (makes me wonder what might be wrong with their gas), prices in the store are mediocre at best. I can generally find the same items at another grocery store or online cheaper and I don't have to buy such huge quantities that the products go bad before I use them. I find I spend significantly more here than at other stores and always leave feeling like I got screwed.

First, I have to pay for a membership to even walk in the door. While I'm not a fan of this at all, I do pay for Prime, so I decided to try Costco out and see if it was worth the money. If I didn't work from home or if I got out a lot the gas prices alone would be worth it - not for me at the present time though.

Second, when I pay for a membership, I expect to be treated well the entire time I'm shopping with the business and they better have something that truly makes it worth the experience to go to a physical store. They do not. You have to show your membership card to get in - this is totally acceptable seeing they Are membership-based. Once you get in, there is no WiFi. Every store has WiFi these days. The stores are generally crowded (which is great for them) unless you go in during certain hours of the day, but this makes it less comfortable to be in their store shopping seeing it can be difficult to even move at times. I'm not going to a concert, I'm shopping.

Third, buying in bulk. While I get this is usually how you get discounts, they take it to the extreme. Example: I want danishes for breakfast. I pick up a pack, but when I get to the checkout counter they told me I have to buy two. There was no sign to reflect this (I came back in and checked) and I was quite upset because I couldn't go through 2 cases before they'd expire, so I got none. Lobster tails - why buy how many you need when you can buy 12 frozen ones (yes they were frozen - yuck!) for $200, or about $3 more than any nearby store selling fresh never frozen ones. The same holds true across the board. Cheese selection - nothing shredded. I can go on and on, but the selections aren't excellent and there really isn't a cost benefit at this store.

Fourth, you aren't treated well by employees. The checkout lines are always long, even self checkout and the lady at self checkout was down right rude and treated me very poorly (to the point I'd never come back). Then when I leave the store they want to check my receipt to make sure I didn't steal something, which by the way is another line you can wait in because this is not a fast process. So I wait to be treated like a thief before I leave to feel even worse about being a Costco member.

Fifth, their online store is horrible and outdated. First they tell you two day shipping, but it's actually 3 day and it takes 2 days to prepare the item, resulting in 5 days before delivery - misrepresentation. Then they do an absolutely horrible job of representing or describing the item, so you're not 100% sure what you'll get. Then you have the inability to check local store stock. All stores these days not only have availability of store merchandise online, but also what isle and bay you'd find it in. Costco Online is very much living in the past.

Lastly, no NFC at registers. While this might not be huge for some, anyone that has made payments in the developed portions of the US or in Europe or China anywhere in the past 5+ years only use NFC. Carrying around a card that can easily get stollen and has a static number is simply unsafe. Time to get up with the times Costco. I haven't seen any big retailers without NFC in almost 4 years and I generally don't do business with places that...

came into this costco on cumberland on saturday 7/13/2024.and I was racially discriminated against by an employee named mccolley. I walked in and showed him my phone that The card I had was on and as I was walking. In I showed him and he lets me in , but then called me back and stopped me And asked to see my phone again. I did as he asked aND then I was told several lies on the reason why he would not let me into the store. The First reason was that they could not scan The barcode from my phone and he said That he was not sure, but he would not let me in.He said that I would need to go to membership.I told him that I think they can because it was done before and that if they couldn't do it , then I would go to membership. Then it came to the point where he said.Let me see your phone again and show him the picture. And then he said that that wasn't.I told him that that wasn't me on the account. It was my sister's Account. It came down to the point where he said.Let me call my manager to let them make the decisions. So I won't get fired which I understood. The problem came when we were standing there.Talking and a white man came through and showed his phone the same distance.I was a way and the same way.I show my phone and he nodded him through.I feel like that was racial discrimination because Because I was the only black man to walk in the store at the time and he stopped me saying that he couldn't use my phone. They couldn't use my phone for the barcode. And that that picture wasn't me and then he let another white man come through and do the same thing I was like whoa, what was that you? He just showed you, the same thing that I did in the same way that I did and united him, through. Well, he tried to deny it and he couldn't the manager came, which was very nice. Mister logan and he told me that the employee was wrong and he shouldn't have stopped me. He was supposed to just seen that I had a card And let me through. Which he did not, I failed. And I am waiting for them to respond. I have never in my life. Not been able to go in to a store. I may have been into a store and been harassed then, but never have I been not allowed to enter a store. And as I told him it was because I was in my work clothes which looked dingy my hair Was not in tip top shape and I was a black man on the white side of town. So therefore I feel like he targeted me and that was not. Fair or right on their behalf. So I advise for all the black men in atlanta to be careful on going to that store because they will treat us differently. I have not heard from anyone about this.So I am still waiting and that shows that they really do not care about what's happened. But I will not stop until I hear something from them or I will get Silver rights attorney to deal with this matter because it was targeting racial profiling and harassment. All of the employees there are not bad.You may get some that's are good and you may get some. There are racist and I feel that he was racist. And I am still waiting to hear from them so I.Advise All my black brothers to not go to that store due to their Racial harassment on the way that you look. Thank you, and my name is George...

I was kind of tired of dealing with Sam's club so I decided to get the gold Costco membership. It is closer to my home; so I read about it on their website, and thought it was fantastic. Getting there was a bit of a hassle because the parking lot was full. Getting my membership I paid the $120 which was an ok experience. I wish I got the women's name because she was great and friendly. So I walked around the store just to check it out. Didn't really need anything so I just got nectarines. Checkout was horrible. The cashier had the grossest look on his face and didn't say a word. So I thought hmmm maybe he's just having a bad day. So I come back to try their food. Ordered a whole pizza. The dough was not cooked. Plus there was an older gentleman ordering a pizza slice ahead of me. He told the woman his slice looked old. Which it did look off. She rolled her eyes and told him thats how the pizza looked. Her and the cashier were just so rude to the poor man. I go to buy groceries with my family in the store and come checkout time, again, the same thing happened. Another rude cashier. So I thought I had seen enough. I wanted this to work so bad but it was ridiculous. I don't even understand how this store has 4 star rating. People you are paying for a service please do not settle. So I decided to return my membership. There were 3 people in the customer service area. One handling the returns. 2 were at the front. When i got there they were both with someone and i had one lady infront of me. We were waiting there for a strangely long time. So the hispanic lady finishes with her one customer and attends the lady infront of me, so I'm next. As soon as the other one with the ghetto loud a*s red eyeshadow and Caterpillar lashes finishes with her customer she turns around and pretends to do something even though I had been waiting like 15 twenty minutes there. So i was just like whatever I'll just wait. So come my turn with the Hispanic woman I told her I would like to please return my membership. She does not ask me why. She just says ok even though you've only had it for a week, ok. Then she says I can put my card in for the refund. So I do. She said it's not going through so that I shouldn't put my pin, just press green. &then she said it still wont go through. And asks what card I have. So I told her its Mastercard. She goes; oh we don't take Mastercard. I told her thats the exact same card I paid with. Then caterpillar lashes buts in and says okayyyy but we don't take Mastercard. So I said then JUST give me MY money CASH. The cashier gave me my money. Guys caterpillar lashes didn't want to work but she wanted to but in out of nowhere. Besides before I got my membership I read on their website they do take Mastercard and most major cards. These people need customer service training. They are disgustingly RUDE. I actually waited two weeks to write this while I was in a clear state of mind. It's small at this Costco location and WAY TOO...
