Costco Food Court — Restaurant in Georgia

The Costco food court has become a frustrating experience, especially on Fridays. It’s always packed and clearly understaffed, yet nothing seems to change week after week. Today was particularly disappointing. I called ahead to order four pizzas and was told they would be ready in 25 minutes. I arrived, did my shopping, and at the 35-minute mark I paid and asked about my order. I was then told the pizzas hadn’t even gone into the oven yet. When I asked how much longer it would be, the response was another 30 minutes.

I asked for a refund since I couldn’t wait any longer, and the staff member responded rudely, telling me to go find a supervisor in a red vest. While I was explaining the situation to the front end supervisor, the food court supervisor cut in and said it would be just 10 more minutes if I could wait.

As a Costco member for 20 years, I’m disappointed by how far the service has declined. There’s no urgency, no accountability, and no courtesy. If you can’t handle the volume on Fridays, fix the staffing or stop taking advance orders. Today was enough to make me rethink using the food...
