Visalia Hobbies — Attraction in Visalia

Put a Pro boat UL 19 on layaway,, went to use coupon from horizon hobby and they couldn't get it to run. Put $100 down on it told me they would try and run the coupon later, but it was the last day of sale guess what they never ran the coupon . Horizon hobby a Couple weeks later had it on sale again for almost $100. Cheaper so I called them and to see what they could do nothing,,so I told them just return the boat and I'll order it, they said no wouldn't even give it to me at same price. Needless to say they kept my $100 and would not even give me store credit. That's a strait lie,, I asked you if you would honor it if not I was going to cancel my order,, you said sorry.. if you would like I recorded the whole conversation I guess I can blast it out there and show what a lieing deceitful person you are,, I asked well can I at least get some kind of store credit you told me flat out no.. what's sad is over my 52 year's we have spent probably between 15,000 to $20,000 in there sence I was a little kid.. between my Grandfather and I and I know of at least 10 people from Hanford I've sent over there and they have spent a lot of money..No more.......I even asked you if you would give me a discount on a set of batteries and you said not,, What sucks is I had to buy the boat from the same Horizon the Company you are supposed to represent But they took the same coupon you failed to give me if you would of honored that coupon why would I have had to buy it on line... I would have just got it there hell I had already put a $100 on it. Lie to...

This place has been there for YEARS! That much I can say positively.. As for the rest.. It must have changed ownership, and/or whoever has taken over has lost their connection with consumers. I have been in there a few times over the last year, and they are rude. They just stand there staring at you, as if hoping you wont bother them. And when you do ask them questions, or are looking for a certain item, they do act as if you are bothering them. You never get a hello, and god forbid they smile.. I have chosen to spend my money else where with their lack of care. And their prices, wow, way over priced. Even with other local businesses selling the same exact product and brand, they are priced above any prices I have found. The place is FILTHY! and Very Cluttered! I have gone in, to spend $$$, and get a whole new set up with a Traxxas truck I had been wanting to get for a gift to my husband. And well, I ended up driving out of town ( Exeter ) to get the same exact item, several dollars less, and with a thank you and a smile. People these days do not understand, you need to appreciate your customers, no matter how much or how little they spend in your shop, and treat them fair, thats how you get good business and make money. No telling how many people have turned away and spent their money else where just because they do not care....

Way,Way over priced.The main guy acts like he has a stick up his,(imagination).The other guys seem to be very afraid of the main guy?They are very scared to make a decision on anything?It didn't feel welcoming when i walked in.I felt like i was the wrong color or something?I couldn't believe they acted like i was bothering them but i just spent 50 dollars.There is a very arrogant feel in this store,almost racist feel.I wish when i walked in with a smile and happy to talk to them they would smile back at least,and seem to be happy for my business.Oh and another thing is they follow you around the store??I have never felt so uncomfortable shopping.walking in this store is like walking in a store from segregation times.I noticed all the white folk that walked in weren't followed around but when the Mexican American walks in,oh boy you betcha they follow you around.I also forgot to mention that several workers in the shop are polite.For this reason i will give three stars.I am happy to see my response,out of the several others,responded too.So moving forward i hope we can have a good ol mom and pops shop atmosphere,Lord...
