This place was a last minute decision to stop at and boy were we happy that we did!! The gal working was so nice and friendly. She started the video for us, engaged in conversation with my children. Spoke to them in detail about the black footed ferret (which we adopted one). She gave the kids a junior ranger booklet as well as a smoky the bear bag with items in it to remind them to be responsible with matches and take care of nature.
My kids fell in love with black footed ferrets because of this stop.

My daughter really liked earning Jr Ranger pins at other parks and we saw someone with one from here so looked it up. It is not a flashy or huge place, but has interesting exhibits and helpful staff.
