As a former GS employee/Manager I can say this was an absolutely terrible customer service. When I asked politely a question about a product she answered with I don’t know and told me to look behind the box. Mind you the store was very slow when I was in there and not busy at all. On top of that. A product was advertised at a certain price with the sticker visible and when she rung it up it was more. I questioned her why she couldn’t acknowledge the price advertised and she said the price is wrong and someone before her dint change the price. Which is fine but her attitude was crap. On top of that other customers were trying to return unopened products. Her first excuse was I don’t have change (didn’t even check the register) her second one was her system isn’t working and can’t take returns. I was prepared to renew my membership cause I know it wasn’t active but I wasn’t even offered. GameStop needs to hire better employees. Employees...

I only ever spend 5 minutes most in the store, I find my game or gift card, cash my coupons, the people are nice and I'm on my way. But if you're looking through the reviews and see someone's 1 star rating with terrible grammar and angry words, I just want to make it aware that particular customer was either making it hard for the employee to cooperate, or asking for something that couldn't be done. All any employee wants is to get paid and get home, and when you come in here with the playstation you dropped in the bathtub or something expecting to get a full return, of course you're going to piss somebody off. Could not be more grateful just for their existence during a time where debit cards were not working with Mogstation and I needed to be able to log in somewhere to have a friend in life, even if just random people to chat with in a co-op focused video game. I don't know how many people have found new life in these mediums like I have, but I say with an absolute sincerity that Final Fantasy has saved my life many times since childhood, simply by always being there - and telling a story to remind us that yes, choosing to be a good person always matters in the ends.
