American Deli — Restaurant in Warner Robins

I got a 10 pc wing honey lemon pepper WET with fries and a drink. From the moment I walked in the guy was rushing me to order which I was confused about since it wasn’t busy and there were two other people before me who already ordered so rushing me to order was unnecessary. I told him I wanted The wet lemon pepper sauce drizzled over my fries and he told me it will be an extra $.75 which last year I would get this all the time with no charge but I didn’t complain about it because business is business I get it. So when my food came out the wings were literally plain, Little to none honey lemon pepper sauce on the wings and they were definitely not wet. So i asked him where is this sauce and he said “there wet ma’am we toss them in it” and i told him those clearly aren’t wet cause if they were they should be dripping in sauce and there not and he told me it’ll be another extra $.75 if I wanted sauce on them. Which is completely absurd To me because why are you charging me for something that should already be on my food? So after I told him I wasn’t paying extra to make my supposed WET WINGS WET. he put it on there anyway and I walked out. But when I got home and ate it The texture of the wings taste like deer ankles. If I’m paying $15 for a meal I expect my food to be how I want it, not what you feel like you want it to be. After the new management and workers this American deli has gone downhill. I decided to give them another chance to see if they change back to their old and better ways But I guess not. Their wings are great. My husband rants over their lemon pepper wings so I placed a very large (and very expensive) order with them for my daughter's birthday party. I called the order in a week in advance and they told me to call back a few days earlier to place the order. I called a few days earlier, and they wanted me to call the day before. I was concerned that they wouldn't have the inventory for our order because it was so large but they said it would be fine. I called the day before, and they told me to call it in the morning of. I was pretty annoyed at this point, but I was willing to because I had mu heart set on their delicious wings. I called the morning of and placed the order to be picked up at noon. Mind you, it was a 25-30 minute drive to get to the store. I arrive at 12:10 and they haven't even started cooking my wings! So, I had to sit there for 20-30 additional minutes for them to fry and toss my HUGE order and serve it to me. I missed the majority of my daughter's party because of this. The food got good feedback from our guests but I just wish they would've kept up with the reservation after I had called them numerous times about it. Just left this restaurant that I’ve been to and even recommended several times before. Ordered what I always get…Philly and Wing combo. After I paid for the food, I stood patiently and waited. I watched several people come in after me, order their food (none called ahead) got served and left. After a very long 35 MINUTES…not exaggerating, my patience left me! I asked for my money back and showed them on the receipt the time I ordered and of course they said you’re fixing to be next…I declined! Why not just be honest and say we forgot about you. Then I had to hear “what the hell” from my girlfriend when I got back in the vehicle empty handed! Her food that she wanted elsewhere was now cold!
