First time Rally House shopper. I bought 2 items, Eagles cap & sweatshirt. I knew the total cost in advance. Register does not show customer the ring up prices. Total was $10 higher than merchandise. I ask for receipt because I know price is not right and get push back from employee they're having trouble printing so they want my email instead. No! I want my receipt showing price. 4 employees are at registers and no one else is in line behind me. Surely one of them knows how to print. Eventually I get a receipt showing purchase prices. The kid who rung me up accidentally ripped the tag off the sweatshirt and it was laying on the desk tucked slightly under his register. I'm not saying he ripped it off intentionally, but I am saying that it was pretty convenient for him to not have a merchandise tag suddenly. I leaned over and pulled the tag out from near the register and showed him that the sweatshirt was $109 not $119. I got pushback that the tag is wrong and tags are sometimes wrong and it happens all the time and it's no big deal. Have a nice day. I said I want my $10 back. I got pushback again. The 4 had a discussion and decided that I could get the $10 back, gee thanks! They wanted my email address in order to refund my credit card transaction for $10. That makes no sense because I didn't give them my email address to make the purchase so they have no record of it and it has nothing to do with my credit card. He said they CANNOT do a refund unless they have the email address. At that point I said I don't have email, now what are you going to do? I do however have the credit card and am prepared to call the CC company to tell them about this transaction. I have the merch tag showing true price. I have the receipt showing overcharged price. So I have the proof I need to the CC company that I was cheated. The kids talk amongst themselves and then decide that they can only refund my $10 if I provide a driver's license. Interestingly I didn't need to show my driver's license in order to buy this sweatshirt so why do I need to show my DL in order to avoid being cheated out of $10? Are these employees making up the rules as they go along? Seems fishy. I decided that I had enough of this store and hand over my DL. I wanted all of my receipts including the refund receipt that they had to go back to another register to print because they didn't know how to print on the initial one. Then I watched my CC online to see if the refund posted, and it did 2 days later. Let's just say that Rally House is not somewhere that I'm encouraged to shop at this holiday season. Left a bad taste...
Read moreOn Monday, August 18th, I ordered an Eagles hat from Rally House's website, to be delivered to my house (I got a deal for free shipping). The next day, Tuesday, I received an email stating "Your order is almost on the way, it is ready to ship".
On Wendesday at 5:46pm, this Warrington Rally House location must have mixed up my order with a return at the store, because my order was suddenly refunded without my consent or involvement. This is only my best guess for the actual cause.
Additionally, I was charged an $8.47 return fee, as if I had voluntarily returned and refunded the item myself. My actual order had not even shipped yet, and I can prove that UPS had never received the item from Rally House: 1Z5V714XYW98382471
I received two refund receipt emails, one for the refunded money, and one for the return fee. Per the email headers, the refund was processed at this Warrington Rally House, and staff member Ray's name is listed on the receipts.
I took this issue directly to the store within an hour. The employees literally had no idea what happened, and were at a loss with how to help me. They understood that the store rightfully owed me the $8.47, but they were not able to simply give me the money back per company policy. All two of the store's managers were off work and utterly unhelpful (this was around 6:30pm), but the employees at least understood the issue.
After about 30 minutes of back and forth over this problem, I ended up just purchasing the Eagles hat I had originally ordered off the shelf, and the employee who was helping me was able to give me a solid discount on the hat, in an attempt to cover the $8.47 that Warrington Rally House outright stole from me.
The difference was still $2.07, but I decided to just leave it at that instead of further taking this issue to customer service, because it's a ridiculous problem to be involved in in the first place. I just wanted it to be done and over.
This Rally House apparently can't double-check basic customer information for something as simple as a store return. It's absolutely ludicrous that something like this ever happened. I am done dealing with this problem; this review...
Read moreI never leave feedback for these things however I had such an awesome experience at the Rally House in Warrington, PA on the Tuesday after the Super Bowl that I had to leave a comment. The staff was so helpful finding what I wanted and the correct sizes. One of the shirts I needed was a 3X, a hard to find size, and it just wasn’t left in stock. I paid for what I was able to find and the associate came running after me with the 3X that she just unpacked from the UPS shipment that was being brought in. I wish I knew her name to tell you because she went above and beyond what I would have expected a sales...
