I visited The Dublin Link pedestrian bridge for my first time, earlier this month, on 4-9-2022. I have been a "pedestrian advocate" [with a particular focus on central Ohio] for many years. I had heard about The Dublin Link [without knowing its official name] during the past several years but had never before seen it.
Until The Dublin Link had been built, the only opportunity for pedestrians to cross the Scioto River anywhere near Dublin has been to walk on the sidewalk on the north side of the Rte. 161 bridge [E. Bridge St. and Dublin-Granville Rd.].
My first opportunity to visit The Dublin Link had been several hours before attending a fundraising concert at Dublin Community Church [United Church of Christ] to raise money to help those who have been impacted by the current war in Ukraine.
I first arrived [via Uber] at an out-of-business business location on Riverside Dr. near the east end of The Dublin Link. As soon as I had crossed Riverside Dr. and had started to walk towards The Dublin Link, I noticed a large group of well-dressed people near the east end of The Dublin Link who had appeared to have recently attended a wedding [at the pavilion building at Riverside Crossing Park]; they then started to cross The Dublin Link.
I walked underneath The Dublin Link, took several pictures from below [with or without the well-dressed people], and then started to cross the Dublin Link myself.
The weather that day had been changing every few minutes and had included brief periods of bright sunshine, brief periods of heavy rain, and brief hailstorms. I eventually arrived at the west bank of the Scioto River and soon arrived at Condado Tacos [about a block north of the west end of The Dublin Link] so that I would be able to eat an early supper on my way to the fundraising concert at Dublin...

This pedestrian bridge connects the older portion of downtown Dublin with a new development of apartment buildings on the other side of the river. The bridge’s path curves around its large central tower, providing a beautiful view while you walk across it. I gave this bridge five stars because it is a beautiful structure that provides great views and a practical connection drastically cutting...

There are accessible restrooms nearby at the riverside...
