I really enjoyed my visit to this park. The parking lot is very small. I noticed a few people parking in the post office parking lot. When you first walk onto the trail it is not very clear which way to go. If you're picnicking I would recommend going to the left. There are a few covered areas with benches. If you want to get right down into the water go down the stairs just to the right. If you want to walk and enjoy the shade take the path to the right. We took the path to the right first. We went over the bridge and decided to make our way down to the water. It was a bit wet from the earlier rain, but plenty of rocks and flat-ish area's to step. I would not recommend for small children (or children who do not hold adults hands), but my 5 1/2 year old did just find. We put our feet in the water and explored the rocks. The water was very clear. We did not see any fish, frogs, etc. Water shoes recommended. Some of the areas are very rocky and can hurt feet. After spending some time in the water we proceeded down the path. There were a few "off the road" paths but ultimately went to a dead end unless you are a skilled climber. We came across a slightly larger waterfall and a few people were down there, but we could not figure out how to get down there. We made it to the end of the path where the Indian Run Cemetery and Veteran's Walkway were. The Cemetery was very interesting. Many old grave sites. Some of the headstones were so old and weathered you could not even read what was originally on them. We noticed many broken headstones as well. Many of the people buried there were under 10 years old. The Veteran's Walkway was nice. It was well kept and clean. After spending time at the cemetery and memorial we made our way back down the path and took the other path to the left. It was much shorter than the path to the right. The left path had more areas to sit. It was very short and led to an observation deck. The area is kept very clean, even for a holiday weekend! Minimal graffiti on the wooden rails along the path. Overall this was a very nice...

Read moreABSOLUTE GEM!! If you live anywhere near the Dublin, Columbus, Powell, Lewis Center and Grove City areas in Ohio...this place is a must see!! When we come to Ohio to visit family we always try to find some of the natural wonders this place has to offer. And this time we truly found a gem! Its was probably one of the most intimate and beautiful nature park/trails we've seen here! Its great urban retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city...right in the middle of it!
Its truly a natural hide away! The falls are like a wonder you would see in a rainforest in Costa Rica! The trails allow you to walk along the spring and listen to the refreshing sound of the water as it cascades into the falls. There are lots of overlooking points that make for great pictures or a spot just sit and take it all in! The kiddos love climbing up and down the sides of the rocks and perching. I liked the fact that pets are...
