My personal experiece at this store was awesome. I mean I love the concept of “the counter coming to you” (instead of you going to the counter), but most of all I liked the very nice, very civic, very polite and professional approach and handling of my needs by the staff. And I stayed at the store for a good 45 minutes, and saw three different employees (not just one good employee) whose professionalism (product knowledge and concrete handling of some replacement and a trade-in of two different products I had, as well as the new product purchase handling and my data transfer and all) made it fund to watch, fun to talk to, fund to live as an experience (great expectation of further fun later with the new iphone notwithstanding). Sone people are so spoiled and quick to complain. I can suggest they go to European, or Arabic, or Asian Apple stores in those other continents where despite Apple’s efforts, the staff is the locla staff and cannot be compared with the American Apole stores staff wherever they are. It’s a matter of culture, no matter the kindness and knowledge that you see in almost every store. Something is off in those cultures (I mean even in Amsterdam). London is the only exception (I guess it is like that across the UK). Guess why? Well, the same respectul culture, kindness, humility and sincerity (different from the kindness of an Eastern European, French, Arab, Asian, etc. employee who swallows the grudge of serving too many requests by a customer). On the other hand, an Apple store is there to sell products and serve the needs of all customers, be they actual or perspective. The store is not there to do a bank’s job and suspect and stop payments made with a stolen credit card that go through the bank’s system of payments and the bank’s alert system for multiple subsequent purchases within a short time period. So stop whining and take it out in the bank you do your banking with, not the Apple store. I am from Chicago and have traveled extensively, meaning I have bern in many Apple stores the world over. I own Apple products since 10 years ago. No Apple store like in the US and UK. Georgetown Apple Store is a top...
Read moreOn December 19, 2011 at approximetly 4 PM, I didn't visit the store. However, I did have the horrific experience of speaking with an employee that informed me that she merely answers the phone and was not a Technician by the name of Miracle. This person was extremely rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. She was very impatient and had no quorums as to informing me that she was not going to allow me to speak to a manager, per my request, for they where all on the floor assisting customers. I can only assume that Miracle did NOT consider me a customer. I informed her that I would wait which must have been the complete opposite of what she, Miracle, was expecting. Her next form of evasion was that Technicians do not speak to individuals over the phone. At this point I had consumed enough of my time, therefor to no avail, I asked for her immediate Supervisor. Needless to say she hung up the phone. Upon my return call I asked if I was speaking to Miracle and she began to laugh histaricaly into the phone as if I had told her the joke for the day. In addition, she, Miracle, invited me to visit the store at ANYTIME! This statement was not inviting one bit. It was confrontational as if she welcomed it. I feel compelled to write this review due to the unemployment rate being extremely high. I'm quite sure that someone would be better suited for this position than Miracle. Someone with customer service skills and qualifications. A person with pleasant attitude at the least. Not agitated that they have to answer an inquiry. If Miracle's behavior is condoned than that would prove more of a reason not to patronize this store. It is apparent that Apple has gotten so major that customer service isn't important. Fortunately, there are many other companies that have products that provide the same capability as Apple products. In addition, I was able to speak with Jena Roe, after circumventing Miracle, who was inforamtive and very pleasant and eager to assist me in resolving the isssue with the product as well as being very apologetic for my experience...
Read moreApple is truly driven by high profits!!!!!
Those dubious emotional Keynote stories for electronics and innovation every year are all scams, they value profits far greater than human life. Even while they reported for the year of 2018 total revenue at $265.6 billion to officially announcing in 2019 they are joining the Banking and Financial Service Market with its Apple Credit Card their practice is to still scam its devoted customers. My recent store experience was total scam. I reported in 2018 while under warranty many issues with my laptop, one of which was the battery not lasting long, which they even noted on their records and even on my receipt (see picture), however I discovered at my last Apple Store visit they never replaced the battery at all. Even while they could actual see hard proof through their records that I reported battery issues in 2018 while under warranty there I found myself back the Apple Store for the exact same issue in 2019. However, now they are telling me they can replace the battery, but because I am now out of warranty they are going to charge me $200.
• I reported battery issues in 2018 under warranty • Apple chose to not replace battery in 2018 while under warranty • I reported battery issues for a second time in 2019 out of warranty • Apple is now requesting a $200 payment in 2019 to replace the battery while out of warranty
Apple is trying to scam me for $200, even though they chose to not replace the battery when I reported it while under warranty.
The saddest part about this deplorable situation is I’m only asking for Apple to fix their own product I paid nearly 2K for (see picture). It becomes really appalling when understanding this matter is surrounding a $200 battery (that would cost them maybe $3) with a company who reported $62.9 billion dollars in revenue less than a year from now. Apple success appears to be driven by scams exactly like this one. Push a flawed product only to evade the customers paid...
