We passed by here on a weekend evening in early fall. Itโ€™s very tranquil and beautiful in the park with some early fall foliage. Although the park is pretty small, itโ€™s nice to walk around and take a seat to enjoy the view. There were also some DC city bike stations nearby, so visitors can bike to this area and walk around.

George Washington Statue A very nice statue of the first president of the US. This statue, like many others, is taken from granted by most touristic attractions, but it you like sculptures Iโ€™d recommend a visit. Itโ€™s just near foggy bottom and in an open air square, completely free.

Clean area around the statue. Some benches and open space to enjoy. The traffic circle gets plenty of traffic, take care crossing at all times. There is some places to eat and pick up a cup of coffee nearby.

Beautiful statue. The circle walkways and cross walks were clean and easy to view. The painted crosswalks are easy to spot and the timers are timed perfectly. You do not have to wait forever for the lights to change. The statue itself seemed well maintained. No graffiti or damage.
