I had the worse experience in this store this evening. I went to the store to exchange two items that I brought. While waiting in line I realized I left my receipt in the car so stepped out of line and waited for my sister to return with the receipt. While waiting the secret guard that watched people came up front pretends to be looking at nothing stands there watching me. Every move I made he was there watching. From looking at the cookies to the kids toys to the mirrors he was there. I decided to just return my items and did not buy anything else. I felt violated and uncomfortable. I do not steal never have never will. I work hard so that I can spend my money for things I want. Home Goods missed out on my money but I'm sure they won't miss it. Oh well I'll stick to Hobby Lobby or anywhere...

The store was incredibly busy today being Saturday. All associates were helping customers so I took the rag from the nightstand I wanted to purchase and got in line. When I got to the register, I was assisted by manager on duty Thomas Blaedow. I explained that I had taken the ticket because I needed to purchase two nightstands but I had no way of getting them upfront. He stopped what he was doing was doing to go back to pick up both nightstands. He brought them upfront on a flatbed. I also purchased a desk chair with wheels, so I was concerned about getting all of this in my sedan. He was so positive and upbeat entire time. Told me between the two of us we would get all of this in my car. Believe it or not, we did! Thomas was very courteous and helpful all while...

Found a wicker basket at this location that I liked however it has significant defects such as scratches on the bamboo handles. I was under the impression when items are defected in the store and STILL out for sale that a small discount of 5% would be deducted from the total however the store manger on 4/15/25 decided the scratches were not “significant” enough to grant me the discount. Never experienced this in the past. I believe I purchased something once before that had dents in it and received the discount. He had terrible customer service and wanted to debate about the scratches. I’ll stick to the oak...
