My daughter goes to college and made a hair appt at this store. She was given a price when she made the appt and was told after the haircut it was more money. She also waited 40 minutes before she was called for her appt. No effort was made to give her the price quoted on the phone or a discount for having to wait for so long. Then when she got the items she needed from the store she went to check out. They asked her if she wanted to use points which we had plenty to cover most of the purchase. They; however, wouldn’t let her use the points because they were in my name. She has been using my points at every Ulta but this one wouldn’t let her because she wasn’t me. They also wouldn’t let her call me for me to give my permission to use them. They didn’t have any problem with her using my credit card though. When she called me to tell them what happened, I called and spoke to a mgr and he basically told me that they were more concerned that she was using my points and it wasn’t their business if she used my credit card (which was an Ulta card). We gave her these things so that she can get her stuff when she was away at college. Obviously she won’t be returning to this store. Read moreMy daughter who is twelve introduced me to Ulta the earlier part of this year. We went to the Ulta in Mayfair Collections. This is where we meet the best Clinique Consultant Cardee. She was kind, friendly, polite, patient and knowledgeable. She helped us find a facial cleansing product that would work for the both of us. As she was getting to know us, she started gathering products she felt we needed. She wasn't pushy nor was she just trying to sell us product. She actually cared about how we felt. That made us both feel comfortable to talk to her. She allowed us to try the product to see how it made our face feel. She made her recommendations and let us decide what we wanted to purchase. My daughter also wanted makeup, pimple popper, lip gloss, lip and eye masks. Cardee found the right shade of make up and showed my daughter how to apply it. She also showed my daughter where the other items were in the store. Cardee was very thorough. This past Saturday we went to Ulta because my daughter needed more product. We were so happy to see Cardee and as always she was ready to help us find what we needed. She also remembered us abd and man did that really make us feel special. Read moreFirst time using the salon at Ulta. I arrived 10 minutes early. No one greeted me, no one checked me in for 15 minutes. My stylist was nowhere to be seen. Someone eventually asked if I needed to checked in and said my stylist was on her lunch break. So after 30 minutes late she showed up. Don’t know why you’re booking appointments at times and then taking lunch breaks. I was having a partial highlight. My stylist talked none stop using foul language, topics which were embarrassing out loud in a public setting. Including bashing the management. Sounds like a standard thing for that stylist by looking at the reviews. She took forever! I was there for four hours! My stylist could not style hair for the life of her. I left looking ridiculous. My hair was frizzy, half dryed. It looked a mess. I had to rewash it and style when I got home. Ontop of that she fried the frap out of my bangs.
