Nail Tek — Attraction in Waynesville

I used to go to the salon a few years ago. There was a girl that worked there and she was wonderful. She is no longer there. I decided to try once more and it was the worst experience of my life. I came away with my fingers cut all to pieces from the nail file. There was glitter randomly in my flat nail polish. That was a single color. The Nail Tech laughed and told me it was an extra for me. I don't know what she was doing, but I had asked for SNS powder. After about six coats of different powders and liquids, my nails were flat looking and you could see the marks from the buffer. She told me I was through and I told her no this is not how SNS powder looks. She then put some kind of topcoat on it, which makes my nails dry with a shine on them. SNS powder should never have to have a topcoat and then sit and dry them. Within three days, whatever that clearcoat was was peeling off. Also, on my pedicure, there was no topcoat so it lasted no time at all. The place is nasty and the text are untrained and the owners are just horribly rude. I really hope this place doesn't last very...

I took my sister to get pedicures and I got a full set. My sister said her tech was rough. The lady that did mine was really rough and it hurt alot, not relaxing. She cut the skin around my toes and fingers and burned me with the towel. Was very rough. By the time i got home (maybe 30 mins after i left, my nail polish on my feet was all messed up, it was fine when i left the salon and the polish was dry, my tech even checked it). My full set came out a bit wierd. Nails are different lengths and not same shape, different thickness as well. Unhappy considering i paid $140 including tip and didn't receive a very great service. I want a refund so i can go elsewhere and have this fixed. I've never had an issue with this salon prior to now, they've always done great work so this is really upsetting for me.

Update as of 12:40 pm, I've asked for a refund they have declined and so I am filing through bank. They were incredibly rude...

Absolutely horrible.. went in for a polish change & a trim because I had broken 3 nails on vacation. She drilled my polish off, then went in with the sanding bit, then buffed my natural nail down so thin it was hurting when she applied the polish, sideways. I’ve never in my life seen someone polish nails horizontally. My polish is thick & clumpy, all under my nails (I had to scrape it off & it still won’t come off), on other fingers it’s streaky & you can see through it, she never cut my nails nor asked how I wanted them shaped & to top it off, she applied base coat & nail oil so they’re sticky & have things stuck to them now.
