Daylight Donuts — Restaurant in Waynesville

I had a very strange thing happen here today. I went in with my young toddler son. There was a lady sitting at the table with her phone sitting up like she was recording. The man gave my son a donut hole to eat. It was almost as if the lady was recording the whole thing. He told my son to say thank you. He then proceeded to ask for a hug and a high 5 while looking at the lady recording. She then proceeded to turn her phone towards us as we were leaving. This weirded me out so so bad. I will not be returning to this establishment. I hope other parents haven’t had the same experience. I hope it’s just a cultural thing and not something creepy. It’s a crazy world we live...

If you're looking for delicious, "simple" donuts at a fair price, look no further. For the best selection, you'll want to get there before things sell out. But even if you happen to stumble in 5 minutes before they close, whatever you end up with will be amazing.

The staff is super friendly as well. No matter what time of day you stop by, they always greet you with cheer in their voice.

Omg I’m so fed up with petty people who have to complain about everything! New business sometimes have to adjust and gauge quantities of supplies due to the amount of customer fluctuations If you are allergic to things, how are businesses suppose to know? They have three different flavors for doughnuts so I hope they ask what kind I want! All I know is it was the best tasting doughnut I have eaten in awhile and the staff went out of there way to fix us some bear claws. They were sooooo good. Trust me good food and good prices and you should try it...
