Very personable friendly ,easy sign up. Anyone on disability is free .that is how it should be.atlwast with his insurance / UHC Can't speak on behalf of any other ins jus personal exp. The facility is 64,000 square feet and has a water play park, lap pool, 1/10 mile rubber walking track, two basketball courts, weight room, aerobics room, spin cycle room, cardio area, two racquetball courts, a stretch room and a multipurpose room that is used for meetings, parties, showers, family reunions,

The only NEG.3 * for shower stalls SUGGESRION FOR JANITORIAL .wear shoes( flip flops from DG are 1 to 5 dollars ) anyway anytime anywhere you share with alot of ppl publicly always protect your skin,feet.i feel they should go in every 30 to 45 minutes .continued rounds for certain workers to be assigned for cleaning the stalls.look around cleaners pls use disinfectant and not only mop thru. Spray soak and then scrub /rinse with correct accessories .the edges walls handles benches shower curtains. I've been 4 times and I am observant and I clean professionally so I guess it is why I am saying thus bc ur trained or your not.theyre specific order of sanitary practice pls think of it as if it is your loved one. Not perfection but 8 out 10 ti es it should be atleast 40...

Well I have been here many times and never had a complaint but I went to reserve a birthday usually you get a room and 20 swimmers for $69 which is a great deal well this time they told me the pool was all booked up but they had a party room but I had to pay for 2 hours which was $52 and i could pay for my swimmers the day of we went swimming so the room was booked from 4-6 and I specifically asked what time the pool closed they said 7 I was like really in thought it was only open till 6 she said nope 7. 2 weeks ago and played $20 For 6 swimmers well today when I go to check in and the lady says you know the pool closes at 6 I was like ok but they told me 7 2 weeks ago that was strick 1 then I only use the room from 4-5 so we can swim for an hour left some behind to clean up thinking we got another hour no hurry but the people start rushing them out the room cause they got to close the room but they should have never worried about the room until we cleared our stuff out since we rented it for 2 hours we get in to swim and the kiddie pool was closed said someone pooped in it so they would need thirty minutes till they could open it back up which is understandable but they should of just told us that they weren't gonna open it back up I also have always used their kiddie vest for my son and I asked where they were and they said that they were only for swimming lessons they changed it last week well the kiddie side is close and my 1 year old can't swim it would have been nice to use it since he could play in the kiddie side very bad experience will not be...

The worst... Don't count on the pool being open when you get there, especially the kids part. I can understand this happening once or twice, maybe there was an emergency or staffing issue, BUT this has happened way too many times. There is nothing worse than showing up with kids ready to swim and then being told "the pool is closed".

Don't bother telling them you just called and asked about the pool status, because they will tell you, that YOU are the one that is wrong! Yes, I do love dressing five children, and getting them out of the house in their bathing suits and swimming gear, ready to go swimming, BUT next time I would appreciate a competent answer on the phone before I arrive.

Brenda at the front desk is particularly hateful, and has a terrible attitude. She is just the cherry on top of a crappy experience.

And don't even get me started on their "family memberships". Their definition of a "family" is of four people. It does not matter how many children you legally have; you will pay individually for each child over the "American normal" family size of four. It is ridiculous.

Waynesville Rec center should take some notes from Haywood Regionals Fitness Center. Their customer service is amazing and they have true family rates. In the summer head out to Lake J... really, pretty much any where else has better customer service and...
