Las Lajas Mexican Store & Restaurant — Attraction in Wentzville

My family and I recently moved to the area from North County and decided to try Las Lajas Mexican Restaurant. We were all very pleased with our meals. My favorite was the al pastor taco, which was perfectly cooked and had a delicious flavor. I also loved their corn tortillas, which were soft and flavorful and didn't fall apart.

I would love it if Las Lajas also served alcohol. A cold margarita would have been the perfect accompaniment to our meal. I'm not sure if they allow BYOB, but I'll have to ask next time.

I was looking for a home made salsa and not the bottle one's and my daughter recommend me this Las Lajas Mexican store in Wentzville, and went Saturday and purchase a red and green home made salsa and the same Saturday i was out of does salsas had to come back early on Sunday morning at 9 am to get me another set of salsas.. Thank you Las Lajas. You save me from making my own salsas. I was to busy that didn't had the time to make them. Flavor is wonderful and the container of salsa is a lot and cheap too! Coming...

I love the restaurant and store.

Store is great for finding any Spanish food or you cant get at regular grocery stores.

I just picked up 8lbs of sliced pork shoulder to make smoked al pastor. The Bucher slided and marinated it for me... absolutely amazing!

As for the restaurant. ALL of the tacos and tortas are absolutely amazing. Hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant in the STL Metro.

Customer service is great too. Everyone is super friendly.
