Sun Clinical Laboratories — Attraction in West Covina

I decided to drive 40 mins to this clinic just because I usually have a bad experience with blood tests at the Sun Labs around where I live and people wrote good reviews about a girl w long black hair! I waited for a max of 10 minutes with three people before me and was called in by the same girl. She was amazing! She could tell I had smaller veins and was able to draw my blood in such a gentle and quick manner without poking or digging around. I had to get a lot of blood drawn and she made sure I was feeling okay. The people before me took less than a minute to get their blood drawn. I’ve never experienced such a fast and efficient worker at a Sun Clinical Lab. There was also another friendly Asian worker drawing blood as well! Both were nice and friendly. I only liked how I was in and out within 15-20 minutes, but this place is pretty dirty. The check in ladies/nurses could work on their people skills and cleanliness. I was handed a form to fill out and noticed there was ants crawling on it. My form was grabbed from me before I could even finish it because they’re shoving other papers in front of you. While waiting I was called by the same lady who handed me the form. She yelled my name once and then twice and then a third time without any pauses in between and then saying “come back and get your blood drawn!” As if I was being defiant. First time coming heretoday (071320) and whoever was the phlebotomist there was not very accommodating. It’s embarrassing yes I work in a healthcare but I don’t like needles and i try very hard to not show it. I had an anxiety that day having draws and she asked what was wrong and said I’m scared of needles. She just shook her head in a very demeaning manner and after she pulled out the needle from my veins, didn’t even bother applying pressure on it. I bled three times before she decided to put pressure on it. I understand she may be busy but there were only two people there.
