Travelodge Inn & Suites by Wyndham West Covina — Hotel in West Covina

Yesterday I stayed with my family in this motel we got bedbugs on the bed and we cleaning service about it then I told the front desk about it and we took pictures and videos of the bedbugs in the room we stayed in room 106 downstairs and it was infested with bedbugs I went and told the front desk about it took a napkin with bedbugs on it that I picked up from the bed and he said he could leave I will give you half of your money back instead of them helping with the situation saying I will help you out with another room know their service is very bad and They are rude to the customers and loud if one room has bedbugs can you guys imagine all the other rooms we stayed there for two nights we seen when the cleaning service clean the room she just cleaned it like whatever’s Please everybody be careful where you stay at it’s not a good thing staying at a hotel or motel where they have bedbugs the front desk guy told me that he couldn’t do anything about it so I asked him can I get a number where I can call about this he said I don’t have...

I was really looking forward to it as I saw the ratings of this hotel. However, I do have some concerns. The check in process was quick. As soon as I walked into my room, I got hit with a strong smell of cigarette. Interesting because at the check in, he kept emphasizing it was a 100% non smoking hotel. Then, I laid my items on the bed and saw burnt holes on the bed sheet clearly from cigarettes. I’m pregnant, so I headed down to the office to inform him and possibly getting room switched. I told him I was pregnant too and he denied the cigarette smell. He said, “No, I had a Mexican band group stay and they promised me no smoke”. What? Ok… well I responded, “Well, it still smells like it and I’m pregnant.” I told him about the burnt holes on the bed sheet and he said don’t worry that the sheets are only decor. What!? Anyways the best he gave me was an air freshener spray to take to the room. Still very upset because the smell was strong and he did nothing about it especially when it’s a pregnant woman....

I wanted to give this a good review.

The room was quiet, had blackout curtains, was small but comfortable initially... The location was also pretty good close to the mall and I booked last minute on my way into California for the grandpa's 92nd Bday...

That being said, the TV required a code to watch any channel and when I called the front desk to ask for the code they said they didn't know or the channel was probably not one they had available, but I mean it was literally prompting for a code for every channel.

So, I just tried a couple of codes... it's 1234

Not super complex but there you go if anyone else has the same issue.

But the real reason it gets a 1 is that we had bed bugs.

I got a number of bites on my legs and my fiance did too and have been itching quite a bit since staying.
