We were in the area and saw all you can eat. And me and my mom were hungry. We looked online for prices before coming in. And saw it was $25.95 ayce for dinner. While the menus inside the restaurant were hiding the ayce prices. Its $40 per person for ayce. Almost double and the sushi wasnt that good.
We were still eating but wanted to pay for our bill and buy a roll to take home and we just wanted to close our bill. We were gonna finish eating what we ordered. But Angel looks at my table and goes “are you gonna finish that. Im gonna have to charge you for what you didnt finish. And another coworker comes up(i didnt get his name) and they start watching us very carefully and they were holding my to go roll waiting for us to finish before giving us our food. And as i walked away, i hear them talking behind my back, literally. “They just want the to go box to take their other food home” and that we were trying to pull a fast one. When we weren't. Terrible service. Food was mediocre. Hidden prices and way more expensive than any other ayce sushi restaurants out there. Extremely disappointed. Please dont waste your time and money when there are better options and better service everywhere else How can all you can eat prices were different online then dine in. We wouldve never went in knowing.
UPDATE The owner replied back saying he has no control over what menu his customers post and the price on yelp is not always accurate. And im fully aware of the leftover policies. But he went and told me where they were located. Even tho that wasnt my issue at all with it. It was because his coworker was giving me lip even tho i wasnt done with my food and he wanted to give me extra charges that were unnecessary. Anddd he said that it was all up to date and there was no hidden fees/prices. Even tho the price for AYCE was hidden. Store was not up to date, furniture was poorly upholstered and there were graffiti/stickers in the bathrooms. The owner did not have any price posted for AYCE on
We are new to the neighborhood and wanted AYCE sushi. This place was nearby and it seems popular based on the reviews. I read the reviews, saying it’s the best sushi, best service, and best quality. The only tbing I agree on is that the service is the best. Their fish was mediocre at best. We ordered AYCE at $40pp for dinner. We were allowed 3 rounds. The first round of sushi was good. We were not a fan of the Philadelphia roll. It seemed like half a block of cream cheese on it, making it unappetizing. The stuffed mushrooms were good, and we enjoyed their Mango Lovers roll. Second round was when we had regrets ordering so much, because we were forced to finish a bunch of rolls that we ended up not liking. A different chef from the first round prepared it. He put too much imitation crab meat on some of the orders that it was almost unappetizing. He also added too much sauce on some of the rolls it was like our food was drowning in it. The Mango Tango roll was way overstuffed with imitation crab with only a sliver of salmon. Another roll had so much sauce swimming in it we had to force ourselves to eat it so we wouldn’t be charged for not eating it. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms, and Mango Lovers roll again and it wasn’t the same as the first round. Overall the fish wasn’t that fresh. It’s the same quality as the kind you get at a lower end AYCE buffet, and there is no consistency with the preparation of the dishes. I don’t think we will be back. We came home full from being forced to finish the food so we wouldn’t be charged extra, but not satisfied. Also for spending almost $300, and with tip included, I would have expected the bathrooms didn’t look like I was going into a gas station wash room with graffiti, and a very unclean toilet. I also expected the quality of the sushi to be better at...
Read moreI had been coming to this sushi place for a long time and my experience was always pleasant however ever since they hired all these new hosts and waiters who all they do is talk, gossip and laugh and don’t bother focusing on the customers. My friend and i decided to give it another shot and when we arrived and got seated, we waited about 8-10 minutes to finally get our All you can Eat sheet and finally order while the girls in the front were just laughing and talking. Finally After we got served we waited about 5 minutes to get our plates, napkins, and our chop sticks and our drinks and that’s because WE asked them and reminded them. To top it off, they never came to offer refills, more napkins nothing everything had to be asked to and when each time we tried getting their attention, it was always cause they were busy AGAIN talking and laughing. Overall just horrible experience. I just want to finish off by saying that it’s so unfortunate to have employees who have such poor customer service skills running such a good sushi place since their food seafood is always fresh. I hope the manager sees this and trains their employees better because having them working that poorly is going to have them lose plenty of...
