El Pescador in West Covina, a popular seafood restaurant in Southern California. El Pescador is a casual and cozy seafood restaurant that specializes in fresh, local seafood dishes. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff and the delicious aroma of seafood cooking on the grill. To start, I ordered the ceviche, which was made with fresh shrimp and marinated in citrus juices and herbs. The ceviche was incredibly flavorful and refreshing, with a perfect balance of acidity and spice. For my main course, I ordered the grilled salmon, which was cooked to perfection and served with a side of rice and vegetables. The salmon was flaky and tender, with a smoky flavor that was enhanced by the grill. In addition to the ceviche and grilled salmon, El Pescador also offers a variety of other seafood dishes, including fish tacos, shrimp scampi, and seafood pasta. The portions are all generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. The atmosphere at El Pescador is casual and laid-back, with a beachy decor and a friendly, family-oriented vibe. The restaurant is perfect for a casual lunch or dinner with friends and family, and the outdoor patio area is a great spot to enjoy the Southern California weather. Overall, I highly recommend El Pescador in West Covina for anyone looking for delicious and fresh seafood dishes. The food is excellent, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed.

The building decor is modern and culturally inviting. Parking is ample and easy to find. The staff is friendly for the most part. The main dining room is busy large and comfortable. Make sure you make reservations for weekends . Outdoor patio is lovely, modern with a Spanish villa look. Music is always playing - it's soothing and at the right noise level. The bar area is fantastic. Great ambiance, great music, and tvs for all sports fans, sit as you arrive. Menu In all locations are the same. Menu is extensive, and plates are medium to large size. Many can easily feed 2 people. Drinks are plentiful and varied. 1. Great place for a date, family time, and a get-together with friends. 2. Prices are great and won't break the bank 3. The dress code is casual to nice. The only problem I had was the photo taker that came along ... We requested not to take photos, but she was insistent. I had to be firm. And last, our server was a bit "inexperienced."inexperienced " she had a noticeable flare to be disinterested in her duties

My husband and I like going to this place for the drinks and the ambiance. Seafood is pretty good too. They have added a few new items to their menu and drinks as well. Also improved in quality. However, we were disappointed last time we were here. We always have to wait for a table at least 40min. and it's only 2 of us, no biggie, but last time we were told our table was ready and when the hostess took us to our table a group had already taken it. We had to wait for the group to get seated somewhere else. Then, a large group sat next to us and the server notice we were very crowded so she offered to move us to a different table. I was happy to move because I was feeling uncomfortable. Well, it took for ever to get our drinks. Then nobody asked if we wanted to order food. After about 30 min someone took our order. Then the hostess came up to us saying we had to move because that table belong to someone else and that we had to wait for a table to be available. WHAT?! So I explained what happened and fortunately they didn't move us. 20 min later we got our food. It was delicious. Pulpo tatemado is now my favorite. I think they were understaffed and maybe they had new people working. I don't know what was going on that night but everyone looked stress and in a bad mood. We were not approached with friendly customer service every time. I guess everyone was overwhelmed. We ended up spending around 3 hrs. there just to get something to eat and order a couple of drinks. My review is for the lack of customer service. Food and drinks are great here but they need to be more organized because it gets very busy here and the workers just can't handle it. It was chaos that night.

Great atmosphere ruined by agonizingly slow/inattentive service. Went to the bar side on a Thursday about 9:00pm and after requesting to be moved, we finally got a table right in the center of the place. Took nearly 10-15 minutes to flag down someone to ask for a server and she finally showed up a few minutes later to clean the table off. She was polite and thorough but we were soon handed off to another server. It was this server's birthday and they sang a song with a cake so I dunno if this had anything to do with it but she basically dissapeared for 17 minutes after being introduced by the first server. At that time she was also instructed to bring me a beer that came with my combo. So about 22 minutes later, as the other 2 in my party were basically finishing their meals, my beer finally arrived... I guess don't expect anything but a snail pace when the bar is packed? Also, the music was a BIT too loud. As an avid EDM night clubber I love loud music but this was a bit too much. Maybe turn the treble down? All 3 of us have ringing ears/cotton ears as we arrived home. Ouch.

Buen provecho! The Server brought our delicious Mexican food order and shouted the greeting. We were so delight with the fantastic ambiance and all the colorful neon lights greeted us at the entrance. We haven’t been here before and we were impressed by the menu and the service. Just looking at the menu, we already knew this restaurant provides authentic Mexican food. Since the restaurant was named after fish, I thought I would do well with fish taco while my wife went for their beef fajitas. The fish in the taco was so flavorful and the meat was so fresh and tender. The fish taco even came with a quarter of guacamole on each taco. The fajita was delicious also as the seasoning for the beef was amazing. A good thing was that the huge plate of beef fajita was only for $20. With inflation, can’t get that big of a beef plate for this price anywhere. One thing you have to be careful of is that the tortilla chips were so good that you kept eating them and get so full and you couldn’t eat your main meal.

Took a friend Friday evening 8/13/2021 for a special occasion and requested to be seated at the 'Cantina 11'/bar. Wait time quoted was way off, as seen on the automated message waiting system. Once we were seated, it took more than a few minutes for a waitress to come to the table. At the moment I was about to leave due to no service, a waitress approaches the table. Takes our order, no chips or salsa brought to the table. Our food order promptly comes to the table, and the waitress disappears for a prolonged period. A different waitress then approaches our table and offered service. Had to be flagging down the waitress for service (beer orders). The bar has a DJ for ambiance, however the music was deafening/uncomfortable loud where you cannot have a conversation. Throughout the time I was at the bar, I noticed three tables/parties get seated and then walk out without ordering anything. Left no tip for the dismal service. Pre-Covid, the service was the complete opposite of my review.
