BEWARE DON'T EVER LOSE SOMETHING HERE THE HOSTESS WAS TRYING TO KEEP A WALLET AND PHONE THAT WAS ACCIDENTALLY LEFT BEHIND My brother visited on Saturday night. And his girlfriend forgot her phone and wallet. She didn't realize until late that night. So on Sunday when they opened the restaurant my brother proceeded to call and ask if they had been found to which they told him they had not. He tried again a couple of hours later and the host or whoever answered the phone call very rudely said I already told you it's not here.Me and my younger brother so happened to dining there a couple of days later to be exact on Thursday and we asked our waiter if he could check if by any chance they had found the wallet or phone after all. He immediately returned and said that they had.He wouldn't give us the phone because we didn't have the passcode. And we had no way of calling my brother's girlfriend because she had no phone. So I gave my brother a call and I told him that they indeed did have the stuff and that they could stop by whenever they had a chance to pick it up. Upon arriving later on that afternoon the lady in the front started denying that they had the wallet or the phone eventually she gave up the Wallet but said there was no phone. At this point they have denied and lied about being in possession of my brothers gfs stuff 3 times. My brother wound up calling me and asking me for a description of the person I spoke to. I described my waiter which by the way was extremely helpful (unlike this lady)and only then did they stop acting like they did not know where the phone was. It really seems like the hostess or in particular , this lady was what's planning on keeping the phone and wallet and a honest employee spoiled their plans. I think this is such a dishonest thing to do especially after another employee had already confirmed and physically showed us that the the two things were there. We are frequent customers and it's sad to think that these people can be keeping people's personal belongings with no regard of how it'll affect...

I have been coming to this location for a while in the bar section . Sometime I encounter good service . However for those time I feel like the majority of servers are in bad mood. Or they feel obligated to be friendly with a customer. I like to come her when is playoff games of any kind . Is a place to relax from stressful work day. I am a owner of my own business and I do know about customer service . I manage my own risk of gaining a customer or to lose it. For me to lose one customer will cost me millions . I don't know about you but if I come in for service I don't expect to be treated like king but at least descent so at least I can enjoy a few minutes of any sport that is showing. I notice that if you come with a family you get treated differently. Today may 20 2025 I came for playoff basketball game I sit on a full station table because the game was just in that area. I was greed it about 10 minutes . The place was not full. I ask a service lady if by any chance I could move . 5 minutes after the manager came which I know because I been coming here . He said sure .so I waited on a table heput the game on a screen . After that I was not offer any water or something I will like to drink I had to call on someone . It was not busy so at least I will have someone greeted me . I asked to see the menu in which show items that are not for service due to hours of service I ask the man serving me which he doesn't have any energy ,no smile, lack of energy, like if he didn't wanted to be there. I stared ordering and he said that is no longer available . So I ask what is available . He said only regular price items. So I ask please showme the regular price items. I was holding the menu while he flip the pages and he couldn't find the items . I got upset that I did not order at all. It ruin my dinner. I just got a beer. No dinner and upset stomach. I will not say that I will not come back you will get a letter if nothing changes. Also the bar section need to be more attentive not only for big ticket but if is only one...

My husband and I like going to this place for the drinks and the ambiance. Seafood is pretty good too. They have added a few new items to their menu and drinks as well. Also improved in quality. However, we were disappointed last time we were here. We always have to wait for a table at least 40min. and it's only 2 of us, no biggie, but last time we were told our table was ready and when the hostess took us to our table a group had already taken it. We had to wait for the group to get seated somewhere else. Then, a large group sat next to us and the server notice we were very crowded so she offered to move us to a different table. I was happy to move because I was feeling uncomfortable. Well, it took for ever to get our drinks. Then nobody asked if we wanted to order food. After about 30 min someone took our order. Then the hostess came up to us saying we had to move because that table belong to someone else and that we had to wait for a table to be available. WHAT?! So I explained what happened and fortunately they didn't move us. 20 min later we got our food. It was delicious. Pulpo tatemado is now my favorite. I think they were understaffed and maybe they had new people working. I don't know what was going on that night but everyone looked stress and in a bad mood. We were not approached with friendly customer service every time. I guess everyone was overwhelmed. We ended up spending around 3 hrs. there just to get something to eat and order a couple of drinks. My review is for the lack of customer service. Food and drinks are great here but they need to be more organized because it gets very busy here and the workers just can't handle it. It was...

El Pescador in West Covina, a popular seafood restaurant in Southern California. El Pescador is a casual and cozy seafood restaurant that specializes in fresh, local seafood dishes. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff and the delicious aroma of seafood cooking on the grill. To start, I ordered the ceviche, which was made with fresh shrimp and marinated in citrus juices and herbs. The ceviche was incredibly flavorful and refreshing, with a perfect balance of acidity and spice. For my main course, I ordered the grilled salmon, which was cooked to perfection and served with a side of rice and vegetables. The salmon was flaky and tender, with a smoky flavor that was enhanced by the grill. In addition to the ceviche and grilled salmon, El Pescador also offers a variety of other seafood dishes, including fish tacos, shrimp scampi, and seafood pasta. The portions are all generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. The atmosphere at El Pescador is casual and laid-back, with a beachy decor and a friendly, family-oriented vibe. The restaurant is perfect for a casual lunch or dinner with friends and family, and the outdoor patio area is a great spot to enjoy the Southern California weather. Overall, I highly recommend El Pescador in West Covina for anyone looking for delicious and fresh seafood dishes. The food is excellent, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed.

I've been to this restaurant many times at other locations, and it's actually one of my favorites. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with today's visit at this particular location. I stopped in for lunch and sat in the bar area since there was a wait on the main dining side. Ivan was our server. During our visit, I noticed he was the only server in the bar, with some help from his manager, and they were handling around 4–6 tables. I started with a cucumber margarita, then ordered a chicken plate. The chicken was undercooked and had a rubbery texture. On the second dish, the vegetables were also undercooked, and the potatoes in the potato salad were hard. Throughout the meal, our server rarely checked in unless we flagged him down or after the issue was already brought to his attention. While I did enjoy the shrimp tacos. The overall service and food quality were disappointing. To make matters worse, silverware wasn't brought back after my first plate was taken away. I appreciate that I wasn't charged for the dish that was sent back, but given this was my first visit to this location, it's unlikely I’ll return.
