The girl(partial owner) at the register was extremely rude. I Ordered the chicken breast kabobs. It includes rice, hummus, & a mezzaterranean salad. It doesnt state what a "mezzaterranean" salad is. So I asked what was inside of it....she said "it's just our house salad".....still doesn't answer my question so i ask her "is it like a shirazi salad" at this point she raises her head and finally looks up at me and raises her voice and says "we serve Mediterranean food not Persian food, it is very different than our food and I don't even know what a shirazi salad has in it" ...I was kinda taken back by how impolite she was and how she got in the fence about my innocent comment.(I THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY HOW SHE KNEW THAT A SHIRAZI SALAD WAS PERSIAN CUSINE) Then she asked "well what does it have in it? " I said "tomatoes...cucumbers ...interupts me and says "what else?" Again very rude. We sit down by 5:01 me and my boyfriend were quiet and shocked just sat back at what just transpired... we ordered a side of fries along with 2 chicken breast kabob plates. Fries came first. I dont think they had drained them in thw basket long enough because I but in to them very very hot and oily ...she did warn us on how hot they were. And it also looks like their oil needs to be changed or atleast filtered ...they had burnt speckles throuought them. Now on to the rest of the food....the chicken kabobs were good and their salad was good too (yes similar to a shirazi) I didnt care for the rice it reminds me of rice a roni...the hummus was ok ...I didnt like that they topped it with canola or vegetable oil....im ok with olive oil or even grapeseed but not those other oils. 5:24 food arrived 5 mins prior and some guy working their puts in the sign meaning they are closing. It was very uncomfortable I felt rushed and I ate fast and left. They close at 6. Ive worked in restaurants before AND we weren't allowed to bring anything in till 5 mins prior and even then if a customer walked in 1 min before closing we still would need to take the order. I wouldn't eat their again simply for the rude co owner and the guy bringing in their sign 36 mins before...
Read moreI tried this place for the first time yesterday and my food was really good! I almost wrote a review then, but I’m glad I waited because my coworkers wanted to try it today and now I have more dishes to review! Yesterday I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich and it was wonderful. The chicken had so much flavor and the pickles were half pickled so they have more of a cucumber taste. Not to mention, they’re purple so it looks aesthetically pleasing as well if you care about that. It’s also very large so it’s enough for two meals or for two people to share. I ate half for lunch and the other half after my early evening workout. Today we ordered the chicken shawarma plate, chicken kebab plate, falafel plate, batata harra, fries, and fried cheese rolls. The chicken was super juicy and flavorful, just like on my sandwich from yesterday. The plates come with the meat over rice, side salad, a side of hummus and a piece of pita. I expected the rice to be bland, but it had a nice flavor to complement the meat. The salad had a lemon vinaigrette dressing with diced tomatoes. The hummus was creamy and noticeably homemade. My only disappointment was the falafel. It was super dry like it had been overcooked and I even though I tried it, I couldn’t eat it and ended up throwing it away. The batata harra was diced potatoes that were well seasoned with a lemony garlic taste. The fries were steak style fries and a big portion size. The fried cheese rolls were by far my favorite. They weren’t super cheesy but they are super flavorful! Also, they are made with filo dough so the crunch when you bite into them is the best crunch you’ll ever have on an egg roll. This place is great, and I would have given them 5 stars had the falafel not been so bad. You can’t be a Mediterranean spot with bad falafel. Other than that,...
Read moreIf you’re craving authentic Lebanese flavors with a fast-casual twist, Mezzaterranean is a must-visit. This spot brings the best of Lebanese food to the table, offering a menu that is both vegan- and vegetarian-friendly, made fresh to order, and bursting with traditional spices and flavors.
Their shawarma fries are an absolute standout—crispy, golden fries loaded with perfectly seasoned shawarma, drizzled with garlic and tahini sauces, and topped with fresh herbs. If you’re a fan of feta, their feta fries add a creamy, tangy kick to an already delicious dish. For those who love variety, the mezza selection offers a perfect mix of classics like hummus, baba ghanoush, tabbouleh, and falafel. And don’t skip the batata harra—spiced, crispy potatoes tossed with garlic, cilantro, and chili for just the right amount of heat. It’s my favorite.
What sets Mezzaterranean apart is its commitment to authenticity and freshness. Every dish is made to order, the quality never wavers.
I used mezzaterranean catering for my bridal shower and it was such a hit. All of the aunties loved it, which was a huge relief since every mom and aunt thinks they throw down better than a restaurant. The team was so professional, accommodating, helpful and understanding. The presentation was gorgeous.
So grateful for this place and their...
