We found this park while looking for a place to hang out in West Des Moines and we were so pleased! It's a nice quite park that has something for everyone... Parks for both big and little kids, tennis courts and basketball courts, an open field (perfect for a kite, which we saw someone do). My dog loved the park. Its in a quite area. Lots of space for sports, games, or gatherings. I wasn't super impressed with the parking lot. The bridge was hard to cross due to all the thick ice. I'm sure it'd be fine in the summer. Might flood or wash out bridge in the spring...
