The manager is rude to uber drivers and said I am basically too stupid to take multiple orders at once. Their employee had handed me 2 orders with missing boxes twice. I have worked at other pizza places and have ubered for 4 years with over 1,000 orders completed and I have never had anyone take such little accountability for a screw up. She never said hold on while I grab another box both times I was in there as well. Everyone else just waits to hand it all over as one and if you are not you need to state that. They claimed I "ran away too fast" when she did it multiple times in one day and has a window they couldve opened to yell at me in the parking lot even. I dont know how you pack things nor am I allowed to open boxes to check if all the items are there. I had asked if they could just not be taking items out of the pizza warmer if I have to wait on additional items or if they could explicitly ensure they state that as they hand me an order. It doesnt even make sense to remove anything from the warmer until its complete anyway, as the pizza will start getting cold while waiting on the other orders to come out. Instead of saying they would retrain an employee, they claimed I was too stupid to uber and take multiple orders if I cant count.
The funniest part of this interaction is that he thought that he could berate an uber driver and customers around were appalled by his behavior and told me he was super rude. It is not acceptable as a manager to behave this way, and if I acted like this at my job and called a patient stupid - I would be fired on the spot. Perhaps you should train your employees better and own your mistakes instead of trying to bring someone else down to deflect. I gave solutions and you could not even apply them to your business to ensure other delivery drivers do not have this issue. Other uber drivers will purposely ignore your orders if this continues - as will I. I suggest you hire your own delivery drivers if you do not like dealing with a third party company. It is half my fault as well for not asking, but I have never been handed an order until it has been completed. Every other person I ask if everything is there is extremely annoyed. The manager refused to hardly take any accountability for their screw up and blamed me solely. I will not be dining here as a customer any longer despite telling people previously this was a great place to eat. I will also not be taking any orders for you if you cant even apologize for your half of the problem or tell me how you will avoid this problem in the future. I had to drive back to the pizza place to get the pizza for the customer which is not something uber usually does, they usually tell the customer to just ask for a refund. I find it funny a pizza manager has to berate an uber drivers to make themselves feel better about their part in...
Read moreThis is the very first time visiting this location in West Des Moines, IA. Right away, I loved our waitress, Nikki, but her hands were tied from the start! I blame all of our bad experience on management. First, I wanted a plain old Coors Light beer. Well, they were out of it. I said, ok, well, since your out of it can you match the price for another domestic that is a dollar more - Modelo's (I think $15 for a 12 pack at walmart!). The waitress said, sure, let me ask our manager. Well, she came back and said the manager would not do that. ALREADY, I felt that I would never come back here again. Get this, then we ordered two 12 inch pizza's, the exact same, brooklyn bridge, and they charged (are you ready for this) $29 for a 12 inch for my wife, just because it was gluten free!! Mine, the exact same one was $23 (which is still too high!). To be honest, they give you more then enough salad for the price, so that was the only bright spot! The Brooklyn bridge was decent, but WAY too much ricotta cheese on it, so no, I wont be back, the bill came to over $70 (would have been $80, but had $10 coupon!), for two iced teas, one salad, and two 12 inch pizza's! (I didnt get any beer, since they didnt substitute). AGAIN, the waitress is not a fault here, and she...
Read moreI am not one to complain but the service was disappointing. It was our first time going here and sadly it will be our last. Our family of four ordered 3 pizzas. One came out and the second a few minutes later….lucky my kids’ pizza. After waiting 10 minutes, we asked and the server went to check and told us it would be 2 more minutes. Wrong! After 10 more minutes of waiting and everyone now done eating. My husband asked a manager and he went to get it eventually. The server came to us and told us the pizza would be removed from our bill. No apology or explanation. When our bill came the pizza was not removed. It’s fine…we can pay, but then don’t tell us it will be removed! When my husband asked about it, we were told by the server “it came out so no it was not removed but I took off the kids’ drinks” again, no apology or explanation. I should also add that when the manager brought my pizza over, he said he would come back and talk to us, but he never did.! We are so easy to please! Honestly, showing a little concern or apologizing, would’ve gone a long way with us. Hopefully Others will have a better experience! Sadly the pepperoni pizza was pretty pathetic looking….. Looking at other people’s photos maybe we just went on...
