I brought my pc because it had crashed. I received it back two days later. They wanted to sell me a Norton virus protector for $40.00 I refused it saying I had used Microsoft Security Essentials. the manager stated Microsoft 's program was not very good. I declined the Norton. Once I got home I could not access several programs I used to get . I returned and they reluctantly looked at my pc and did something so I could activate the programs. I became leery of the Microsoft Essentials program and returned and purchased the Norton Program which they installed. I reminded them that Security Essentials was installed and had to be removed before Norton could be installed. They assured me they had removed it. THEY DID NOT REMOVE IT and consequently I could not download anything because the two virus programs were preventing it. I returned and reported Security Essentials was still on my pc as I could see it in the installed programs list. They adamantly denied it was there. A technician worked on it after shouting at me stating I was blaming him for my error . He was extremely rude. He took of my web browser and installed one I was not familiar with saying he was doing this to save me from the expense of more work being done. I took it home and could not get the new web browser to work and went back the next day. They then began to write up a cost sheet regarding fixing my pc. this same Technician began talking to me in a condescending manner and I told them I would take my business elsewhere. I went to Warp 9 a local "Mom and Pop" business and for a very reasonable amount they returned my pc to perfectly suit me. The problem was that there were two virus programs installed. Cyber LIED to me they did not remove security essentials as they had reported. I would not recommend...
Read moreI wish I could give negative stars. I brought my computer down to be fixed yesterday, I received a phone call today saying the problem could be fixed for 180.00. I was at work, so I gave him the go ahead and told the man I would pick it up tonight. I got home with my computer, plugged it in, and the problem wasn't fixed. Now I have a brand new hard drive for my computer, when that wasn't even the problem, so I tried to call, and of course they do not have a working answering machine. Now I need to go back down tomorrow at closing time when I get off from work to drop my computer off again, demand a refund and the problem be fixed. I suspect now I will not have a computer for my weekend off, nor Christmas.
Update* I brought my computer down the next day and informed the man in charge that the issue was not only still present, but worse than before. He told us "Sorry the Tech guy isn't here every day, come back tomorrow". So we left the computer there, and we received a phone call the next day saying "There is no problem it runs fine for us, we will not refund your money, come and pick it up when you are able." We will NEVER be returning to this poor excuse of an establishment. $180 ripped off with no work done, hopefully the BBB can help us resolve this as they will not work with...
Read moreVery poor customer service after the sale. Apple's motto is "surprise and delight" Cyber Exchange's motto must be "It's your problem... We don't give a $%!t"
I bought a $50 replacement MagSafe power adapter from them 8 months ago. It broke in less than 4 months and was exchanged. The replacement broke again in the same amount of time. (my other magsafes each lasted several years) The clerks response was " I have never had a problem with those after market cables, BUT WE ONLY SELL AUTHENTIC APPLE CABLES NOW"
So they switched manufacturers and stopped selling a product that NEVER had an issue? Why?
What actually happened is they were selling a low quality product and would rather dump the problem onto the customer then admitting their mistake. Shop elsewhere unless you have money...
