Yesterday evening I came here with my boyfriend for whopper Wednesday. We both had mobile codes on our BK apps that were comprised of 6 digits. When the code was entered, the order screen showed "whopper/ impossible whopper" and we both chose regular whoppers which should have then been selected by the cashier on the order screen. We did not get the choice in the app between a whopper and impossible whopper, there was only one generic code for whopper Wednesday. When we both received impossible whoppers we complained to the manager on duty, Brenda, who refused to help us simply because the cashier (who did not speak English) did not enter the order when we specifically asked for regular whoppers. Brenda repeatedly refused to honor the deal which really shouldn't have been so difficult to navigate. We were told other people have given specific codes and that we were somehow doing it wrong. Anyone can see on the next whopper Wednesday that it's one general code and the choice selection should happen when the cashier puts the order in. She insisted that because the order screen and receipt showed impossible whoppers on their end, there was nothing she could do. She was rude and impatient the entire time as well as being snarky when we were as polite and direct as possible. We ultimately had to settle for a refund and leave, with the ever so helpful Brenda adding that we should know what we want next time, again blaming us for their laziness and lack of awareness on how coupons should work on the BK app they should have honored what we chose but hey it's probably our fault for not communicating in Spanish (which we don't speak) to the cashier who initially took our order. You're tired, you're hungry, you're exhausted and have nothing left to give, but you know your local burger king always has good deals and delicious food. So you place an order and get excited at the prospect of FINALLY eating a decent meal!
Except, wait....the lobby doors are locked, weird let's try the other door, also locked. Okay maybe the staff had a rough night themselves and decided to close 4 1/2 hours early, you go to the drive through window and see your order waiting on the counter. You knock, but no one answers. You can see the manager and some staff so you think okay maybe they just didn't see you, so you walk back to the front doors and knock again.
Someone sees you, but angrily points you towards the drive through...where you just were. You are frustrated and hungry and say when the window is open "I've been knocking for 5 minutes im just trying to pick up my order". The response? "OUR LOBBY IS CLOSED!", thats fine im just trying to pick up my order why didn't anyone answer when I knocked? "OUR LOBBY IS CLOSED!". At this point you're pied off, you just want your food, I just want my ducking food you shout back. They yell at you "WELL WHATS THE NAME?!", you give them your name and mumble a duck you under your breath because its been a long day and you just wanted to eat. Read morewithout a doubt, hands down, the most dysfunctional Burger King I have ever been to in my life. Besides the fact that the freak of a Mgr has long hair just hanging down, no net and he is handling food? So, I started at the drive thru with only one car in front of me. TEN MINUTES later I was still there and hadn't even given my order yet, so I backed out of the drive thru, parked and went inside. I only ordered cheesy tots. TEN MINUTES later still there, so I inquired what is taking so long? THEN and only then did he let me know they had to be made. Why didn't you tell me that when I ordered them? I am on lunch! So needless to say, I walked out without my food that I paid for and the "so called" mgr simply went back to his conversation in spanish with another employee while someone was in back of me on line waiting to order. OH, and the same car was still at the drive thru window. This location is a circus and the Mgr should be fired!!!! I will never go here again. If I could have given it a ZERO in stars...
