Coupon Scam!! New Yorkers Beware!! Ticked off Veteran here!! Do NOT waste your time at this location. Go directly to the nearby Easton shop instead! So I get this awesome coupon in the mail a month ago from Phantom Fireworks offering any $269 assortment for just $99.99. I live in NY, but were going to PA in a week so I go to their awesome website, spend hours watching previews etc. And settle on the "Uncle Sam" Kit priced on the website for exactly $269.99! Full of Roman Candles, sparklers, aerials great stuff to watch, and use with the kids Right?! Except they tried to pass off a much smaller package called the 'Uncle Abe' as the product on sale. After a long drive we get there, we can't even find the "Uncle Sam". I find 'Uncle Abe' (somewhat confused by the name) and I look at the description and nothing I wanted is in there, no sparklers etc. "Dang, they sold out," I think, but I ask for help...And Bingo! There it is! "Uncle Sam!" Except NOW it rings up $349.99 and of course, isn't eligible for the coupon. Only the Uncle Abe assortment is $269.99. I tell them I'm not interested in the 'Uncle Abe' because it doesnt have the little stuff in it. Hoping it's just an error and not an outright scam I say "Hey that's not right 'Uncle Sam Kit' is on your website at $269.99. Can we get someone to help?" <screenshot below> And here's where we meet the "head cashier" who refused to give us her name. This young nasty girl starts lying through her teeth and talking down to us like we're too stupid to have read the numbers right on their website. Blaming the website, she then begins to suggest the site is location-specific pricing. It isn't. They only offer a location finder. That the site "hasn't been updated"...it was, their homepage just added a countdown to the Fourth of July. Now we ask for the manager. Ralph begins by calling me sir. Good start but nope, "Just a woman who wore combat boots" is emblazoned across my t-shirt and I tell him so. <photo below> He also refused to honor the advertised price. Refused to even look. And then begins explaining the difference between his work history and the head cashier's, as his reason for not doing his job. As though, it was relevant to their illegal practices of false advertisement. She then, chimes in to say false advertising isn't illegal and simply states there's nothing they could do, while proudly handing me the phone number to corporate... I will be using it. New Yorkers and Veterans I strongly recommend you Skip this store!!!

So I came yesterday to buy fireworks for the 4th of July and celebrate this great day. And I bought 9 Items but I only received 8 and I know when I got home I only 8 items I didn’t go back right away because I was celebrating firing fireworks and I told the young lady to pull up the cameras because I only received 8 items she said she already did, and that it was sold it to me already and she can’t do anything I told her that I would like to see the cameras because I have this issue, she said no they don’t let customer check cameras like wth so I can be robbed and the store like I was and I can’t check the cameras really bad customer service, really bad stuff I won’t be buying anymore over here. Phantom Fireworks in Whitehall, PA used to be my go-to spot for July 4th supplies, but my recent visit was pretty disappointing. The prices have nearly doubled since last time, and honestly, most of the fireworks I bought didn’t live up to the hype. There’s definitely a lot of variety, but a lot of the cakes barely got off the ground or fizzled out way too fast—not what the labels promised at all. On top of that, the staff didn’t seem to know much. When I asked for recommendations based on value or different effects, I mostly got vague answers or blank looks. It felt like they were just waiting to ring me up and move on. And those “deals” they advertise? Punch cards and buy-one-get-one-free offers sound good at first, but the prices are so inflated that you’re not really saving anything. It feels like a gimmick to make you think you’re getting a bargain when you’re really not. Bottom line: You’re paying a lot for fireworks that don’t perform great, and the whole experience feels more like a sales trap than a fun shopping trip. Unless you don’t mind overpaying, I’d recommend checking out other places where you’ll get better value...
