Editing this post to reflect the fact that businesses do care about Google reviews! I posted the below review and someone at Raymour and Flannigan reached out to me, informed me that one of the Managers who I spoke with originally was no longer with the company, apologized and then offered a return AND they picked it up at my house. This is a complete 180 degree turn around and I am incredibly happy with the end result of this. Thank you for caring about your customers! From 1 star to 5 star, thank you!
Unfortunately after being a customer for about 6 years here and spending likely close to $10,000 I have to leave a review. I recently spent over $2000 on a few new bedroom pieces, the delivery guys came and were fantastic in keeping my house clean in the snow, and being very quick to set everything up. Once they left I went to put my mattress on the bed frame and realized that all 3 pieces were just slightly too big once the mattress was on the bed, the night stand and top part of it were a little too big for the room. I immediately called the store no less than 30 minutes after they left and spoke to a male manager I believe named Chris about bringing the $500 night stand and cap back to the store. He said normally they dont allow returns but may be able to apply store credit to which I said would be great as the night stand has no place in the bedroom and is really just sitting in the hallway. Small note, this unit is BRAND NEW and still has the tags and stickers on it, it would be a very easy small problem to remedy. Fast forward to a week later and I had no follow up so I called again. This time I spoke to a female manager who again said something similar but seemed less willing to help and ultimately never called me back either. I guess this place just doesn't value their long term customers enough to help out with a relatively small issue. Read moreMy review is mainly focused on the amazing customer service we received at Raymour and Flanigan recently. We had the pleasure of meeting Kimberly when we went there to purchase a new mattress. She listened to our needs and in a relatively short time helped us choose the perfect mattress for us at a reasonable price. Because we were going from a queen to a king, we needed to purchase a new bed. She helped us choose one without pressuring us to purchase more furniture, as I wanted to keep what we had. But when the bed arrived, it felt way too high in our bedroom and the proportion to the rest of the furniture was way off. I was so upset, even though she had said it was high in the showroom, I had insisted that it would be fine. When I called to discuss my concerns with her, she immediately put me at ease and assured me that she would work with us to make sure we were satisfied. She never once made me feel bad for changing my mind about the purchase. We went back in and right from the start she helped us choose another bed. We actually ended up purchasing an entire bedroom set. I felt immediate relief and now I love our purchase! Yesterday they delivered the new furniture and it is perfect in our room! It looks beautiful and the quality is exceptional. Dealing with Kimberly at Raymour & Flanagan was such a good experience! We will definitely return when we need furniture in the future! Read moreThe Raymour & Flanigan showroom was impressive. We came in to look for a dresser and see them in person. They had a lot of dressers to look at and it was really nice to be able to open the drawers and see how the hardware worked (or didn't) and how the styles looked in person. It was worth the experience. We found one that was perfect and ordered it there. When we walked in we were greeted by Rupert Harrel and he was very friendly. We told him what we were looking for and he told us what section to look in to find the dresser. When we found the perfect one I took a picture of the SKU and Rupert was able to look up the dresser very quickly. He said if we didn't have the SKU he would gladly have come with us to the piece and gotten it there. He showed me the pricing and asked if we wanted to pick up or deliver and we went with the delivery. The next available delivery would be on Sunday (only a few days away from the purchase). He created my account with them, got the pricing and details finalized, and then we went to the payment counter. I paid for the piece in full there, but I believe this is where you would also get financing if you need it (and I will know more about that on my next visit because I now want to get a few more things I saw in the showroom).
