I had an appointment for haircuts for my daughter and myself. I arrived 10 min early for my appointment and waited about 15 minutes before our stylist came over and told us she was running late. I told her it was ok, we weren’t in a hurry. She went on to say the receptionist only booked a 15 minute child’s appointment for my daughter and that was not going to be enough time so she would not be able to cut her hair today. I understood as my daughter has very thick and long hair. She continued, and reiterated that she was already let running late and had another appointment after me so if I wanted a haircut at all today I would have to return later in the day. Apparently it was OK for her to not be timely with my appointment but it was necessary to be timely with the person after me? I was a little confused and wanted to make sure I had understood her correctly so I restated back to her that now I am understanding not only can she not cut my daughter’s hair but she can’t cut mine either. She acknowledged that was correct unless I wanted to come back later in the day or reschedule for another day. I asked her why someone did not call us before we came all the way over here to let us know our appointments needed to be canceled and her response was that there was only two of them working in there and so no one had time to call. She urged me to reschedule for later in the week which to be honest I wasn’t willing to do because they didn’t honor either of my appointments today so why would I reschedule? She was polite and courteous enough but I felt like she was very blasé about wasting my time. I’m guessing that they are busy enough with existing clients and don’t need any new ones? Not...
Read moreDisorganized, unprofessional and rude. I arrived on time for an appointment and was told by the front desk that my stylist was not at work yet and asked if I had time to grab a tea across the street or if I should wait until my stylist was mixing my color. Front desk said to go now. When I returned my stylist repremanded me with, "You almost missed your appointment." No, the front desk said she wasn't here yet. I'd offered to grab the tea while my stylist was mixing color but the front desk said to go now, so I did. I don't need to be repremanded when I arrived a minute early and was told to grab the tea. My stylist then said, "No, it's fine, but I'm back to back today so I'll see where I get with you." I stopped her-- what are you saying? There is some kind of punishment I have to pay for believing the front desk and acting on their statement? She said no, it's fine, I just may not have time to give you a blow dry (which I've paid for and is included in the price). But it's not fine to have my stylist behave as if she is a mother and I am a child who has deeply disappointed her. I told her she needs to be careful with how she is delivering information. My stylist then told me to leave. Get it together, ladies. You're supposed to be a professional. If your front desk messed up, then you smile and go on with your day and you take it up with your front desk when you have time. You don't take it out on a customer who has paid you over a $1,000 in the past year. Done, never returning. 0/10 don't recommend. Toxic femininity...
Read moreWhen I first relocated to Windsor, I tried C Suite Salon a couple of times. The stylist I had refused to layer my hair. She said she didn't believe in it so she cut off length and thinned it out. She wasn't the nicest person or a very talented stylist. She did leave the salon earlier this year, so they're might be worth giving a try now.
In response to the owner: It's been a heck of a year, but I finally had time to post reviews for several companies. In my opinion, a bad experience is a bad experience whether is happened in 2021 or yesterday. My original appointment was booked by myself using your online system. I picked the most expensive stylist, and most talented by the reviews, but when I showed up, she was with another customer and said I never made the appointment with her. That's how I ended up with Alinna I believe her name was. The original stylist I booked was so rude, I almost didn't go back. I chose to give Alinna a couple of more chances before walking out and not returning. In the future, perhaps you could change the way you respond to reviews as I wasn't going to bring the rest of this...
