I went into this Ace location today to see if they had 1/2 inch tubing, needless to say they did not, but that’s not what this review is about. I walk in (I was on the phone with my sister speaking about my mother who is currently in the ICU) and an older woman greets me. I say hello back to her, then she asks if I need help, I say no. She then gets up out of a lawn chair they had on display and proceeds to follow me at a close distance. She then said “This is a hardware store” I replied stating I know that (obviously, why else would I be there). She kept following me and asked again what I needed, I said I’m just looking around. She finally left me alone after saying something about me being on my phone (a crime apparently). I looked around for the tubing but then became frustrated after this interaction and my sister hearing this woman interrogate me (yes she heard the whole thing, that’s how close this woman was following me). I then walked out and she said “didn’t find anything??” I said no, and a don’t appreciate being followed around and I walked out.
