But if you are about to work or study with laptop 💻 then you better go to some other places (probably coworking zones) because only a few halls have outlets, most of their halls do not even have simple outlet to charge your phone and laptop. And it's very uncomfortable that you have to leave your bag and other belongings in the wardrobe which is really crowded. Sometimes you wait 10-15 minutes to leave your places in the wardrobe. I do not understand why should I carry my laptop, my books and my notebooks, phone and any other things in my hands there when I have a bag, it's very uncomfortable. And people usually leave their notebooks and other belongings in free places so that you cannot seat. They are not literally there but just leave their things so that you cannot seat. Read moreI visited the Flower Festival on May 3rd, 2025, and overall, it was a good experience. The event was beautifully organized with vibrant flower displays and lively music that created a cheerful atmosphere. There were food stalls available, which made it convenient to spend a few hours enjoying the event.
However, the festival was extremely overcrowded. The large number of visitors unfortunately led to some damage, particularly to the grass areas, which were badly trampled and ruined in many spots. It would be great if better crowd management or walking paths were arranged in future editions to help preserve the space.

Read moreUSA man and Vietnam wife, we had to get a one day pass to enter, it's free but requires a passport or ID. Luckily we had on our phone. Once the pass is acquired then you can enter. Keep it because you need it to exit. Not much in English. No newspapers. Some interesting displays of old illustrations and writings on the first floor.
Best part were the keen students who wished to practice English and ask us questions about America, etc. We had a nice conversation students until a librarian scolded us for talking, forced us to follow her on a simple tour of the library and then showed us out the door, haha. Felt like a real communist regime at that moment.
